24.01.2022 One set of HR Holden disc brake wheels all finished. These wheels were sandblasted over at Aajay Sandblasting, then primed and top coated with the same white as the HR roof. 22.01.2022 Spent some quality time getting this Outlander interior ready for sale. Removed the kids mobile pantry and used the Mytee steam extractor to eliminate staining on the floor and seats. Exterior looked in really good shape so finished the job with a wash and dry, just in time for a good Melbourne downpour

While polishing the tailgate yesterday I noticed a couple of cracks in the paint which wouldnt sand down. At that point, its a back to square one procedure of removing the faulty body filler, and redoing the repair, then the paint. Classic cars are always a risk for this kind of thing, but it just adds to the enjoyment of a job well done at the end

02.01.2022 How safe is your vehicle? I love taking a dirty, grotty vehicle and handing it back bug and dirt free. Youve seen the before and after pics here, so you know it. But spending hours removing stains from seats doesnt make it safer. Take 5 minutes when you see this post to look at your vehicle headlights. Are they bright and clean, smeared with insects or grime, or hidden under oxidisation? Bug guts are easy to remove. A jug of warm water with dishwash liquid and a non abras...ive cloth will do it, dry off after to prevent spots on the paint. If you pick up a headlight restoration kit, they have sandpaper to take the top layer off the light glass. Should you have difficulties I can help. The headlights pictured took a couple of hours as I couldnt get my polishing machine on them properly, so theyre not finished yet. Bullbars do that lol! Even so, the difference at night time was astounding. Have a go, and dont forget to send in your before and after pics. Clean headlights might just save your life.

Mums old VB Commodore was taken off the road, and a rollcage put in. Dad was determined to teach us how to drive properly, not just pass a test #melbournedrivers This was the first crash she went through, and I learnt fast that cars are easy to bend, hard to repair. So I got good at 1. not bending it, and 2. making it straight and shiny again
