20.01.2022 How can Premier design a racking solution that adds more space but also saves you money? Recently we had the pleasure of designing a specialised solution for our customer that required additional storage space in their warehouse, but didn't want to pay for expensive floor modifications to accomodate this. The pre-existing warehouse was previously a manufacturing facility with pre-cast channels in the floor to house power cables and air lines. It accommodated 200 shelved stor...age on five levels with the upper levels accessed by a Crown model Wave, enabling picking to a height of 3 meters. Premier designed the floor-plan solution that minimised the floor modifications as well as adding substantial storage with an extra 500 shelves. The Crown Wave was upgraded to provide the extra picking height of 3.7 meters.
