25.01.2022 After a meeting of the Preston Druids CC Committee today, Saturday 21 March, and along with correspondence from Cricket Australia, it has been decided that our Senior Presentation Night will not go ahead, due to the current COVID-19 pandemic. We are working on ways to present 2019/20 award winners their trophies etc, whether that be via video technology or, once the current situation has subsided, postponed to a later date, i.e. a Season Launch towards the beginning of next ...season. It has also been decided, at this stage, that our Annual General Meeting will need to take place via video technology, which complies with the Club’s Constitution. The Committee thanks you for your cooperation on these matters and your performances throughout last season. We wish health and happiness to all our members, families and supporters during this time. 14.01.2022 Hello all. We hope you are keeping well during these COVID times. Whilst we have been largely unaffected to this point, thanks to this occurring mainly throughout the off-season, the club no doubt needs to find alternative streams of revenue in the upcoming season. Whilst we will be trying hard to attract sponsors, and support those who support us, we understand we can’t depend solely on local businesses for financial support as they themselves may be struggling too! Depend...ing on the roadmap provided by the Premier on Sunday, and then further directives from Cricket Victoria and the local council, there is a genuine possibility of a season without in-house functions or canteens - something we’ve only just recently experienced ourselves. Buy yourself a raffle ticket ($5 each) for the chance to win some awesome prizes! 100% of proceeds go to the club! Tag your friends, family and workmates. Every donation counts! Go Druids!
