Thank you for your feedback and comments and for patiently waiting during the lunch rush A big thank you to the Preston Valley Artisan Trail committee members, especially to Cynthia and Bev for their hard work and efforts - you guys made it possible. Another big thanks to Bill Cooper for bringing along his wooden creations and to Cathy & Elaine from Knot Just Sisters for their wonderful macrame creations - everyone loved them. But the biggest thank you would have to go to good old Mother Nature for putting on such brilliant weather for us - the whole weekend would have gone down the gurgler without your wonderful sunshine

08.01.2022 RESTRICTIONS EXTENDED With these new restrictions coming into effect tonight we will still remain open but it will be take away only and we will be shutting our garden etc until further notice :( If you feel like a cook up please call ahead and we can have it cooked, wrapped and ready to go when you need so no need to stand around waiting etc. Let's work together and get through these crazy times, take care all :)

One of Bill’s specialties is his fabulou...s miniature worlds reflecting the Australian outback. He also makes beautiful ornate toolboxes. Coin collection boxes as other decorative pieces. Store owner Natalie and her daughter will be offering their craft creations. Cathy and Elaine of ‘Knot Just Sisters’ will also be there with their amazing macramé creations. And of course, Natalie will be dishing out her terrific hamburgers, chips, drinks coffee and cake. Enjoy a picnic on the grounds. Belinda will hosting no less than four artisans while serving ‘Hig...h Tea’ and Devonshire Teas in her shabby chic tea rooms with free range eggs for sale from her happy hens. Belinda will be joined by Carolyn Hayes offering her Lowden Ridge olive oil and raw honey as well as her own beautiful dried flower arrangements. Renowned nature artist Sue Kalab will be demonstrating her stunning artwork of our flora and fauna. Guest artists Jill Lynch will have her dazzling mosaics and sparkling sun catchers and ceramic artist William Stuart creates masks and dazzling sculptural objects. Spar-Lash rope artisan Robert Underhill will be demonstrating his knot tying craft. 02.01.2022 The Lowden Bush Fire Brigade have produced a highly visible container for attaching to the entrance of rural propertys. The container has a screw off cap on one... end allowing the occupiers to enclose their Fire Plan for an attending brigade's information. Occupiers can include as much, or as little information as they see fit. Information could include, but is not limited to: A map of the property, Location of any pumps, Location of power isolators, Location of suitable refill facilities, and Number and mobility of occupants. Each container comes with two stainless steel zip ties to allow the container to be fixed to a suitable place. Lowden brigade supply these at a heavily discounted rate to those residents of our brigade area who request and complete a property assessment by our brigade members. It appears that nothing was stolen but the would be thieves came prepared with tools to help them break in and left a huge mess for the owners.
