11.01.2022 the years i spent as an international speaker at conferences on sustainable development, gave me some strong views on the topic. Local car transport is the real killer, which is why I use #cyclelogistics and keep everything as local as i possibly can. I also try to focus on the big things, and not just be tokenistic. I don't pull swimmers made in Bali out of the plastic bags they were shipped in to me, so i can wrap them "with love" in tissue paper for you. I sew everything m...yself, to personally see to it that waste is reduced. Most important of all, is the effort to make useful products that are not themselves waste in one year, or even in 10 years from now. By that time the energy consumed in harvesting the waste plastic to make them will have been amortised to just about zero.
