11.01.2022 Prime Dental wants you all to be aware of our policy as the Corona virus (Covid-19) situation continues to escalate. We will continue helping our patients for as long as we can, but in order to keep the wider public safe, if any of our staff or dentists become infected, they will be required by law to stay home until they have been cleared from infection, this could be for up to two weeks. If we do not have sufficient staff we could potentially face a complete shutdown which... would impact our patients. We are asking all of our patients that if you have travelled overseas or have been in contact with someone who has been overseas or have had direct contact with someone that has a confirmed case of Coronavirus that you call the practice and speak to our reception staff prior to your appointment. We may delay your appointment two weeks to err on the side of caution. If you are feeling unwell with any upper respiratory symptoms (fever, runny nose, sore throat, cough) we ask that you please do not come into the clinic, we need to be vigilant in spreading any infections around at this time. Please contact your GP if you are concerned about your symptoms. We have a sufficient stock of masks and gloves in order to treat our patients at this time. There is however a worldwide shortage of masks at the moment and we are only able to order limited amounts. We will not be able to see patients if we have no masks in stock, but we are following procedures to avoid this happening. We ask that you do not panic, a lot of people have recovered from this infection and the mortality rate for the flu still remains higher than that of the Coronavirus, it must be contained. If you are planning to travel in the future or are concerned please organise for your dental treatment to be completed prior to your travel to prevent any delays on your return. Prime Care Dental is here to help our patients in any way we can, please call 02 60241516 if you have any questions or concerns. Be sure to wash your hands regularly, before and after handling food, after bathroom visits and doing personal hygiene measures such as blowing your nose. Alcohol gel can be used when you do not have access to soap and water however the concept is the same.

03.01.2022 In Flanders Fields by John McCrae, 1914 In Flanders fields the poppies blow Between the crosses, row on row,... That mark our place; and in the sky The larks, still bravely singing, fly Scarce heard amid the guns below. We are the Dead. Short days ago We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow, Loved and were loved, and now we lie, In Flanders fields. Take up our quarrel with the foe: To you from failing hands we throw The torch; be yours to hold it high. If ye break faith with us who die We shall not sleep, though poppies grow In Flanders fields. LEST WE FORGET

01.01.2022 With Halloween right around the corner... we want to share some tips with you Brushing your teeth straight after treats is the best thing to do right? Wrong, it's actually better to wait a little bit.... Brushing right after eating acidic foods can damage your teeth. This is because some foods soften your enamel. So, if you brush right after eating them, you risk hurting your enamel further while it's still sensitive. For this reason, drink water to rinse away the sugar after eating, but wait at least 30 minutes before you brush and floss. We provide personalized care to every patient, including the littlest ones. Call us on (02) 60241516

01.01.2022 A special promotion for Halloween Don’t miss this haunting deal Please feel free to give us a call on 02 6024 1516 to secure your spot.
