25.01.2022 Pouring rain is no deterrent for our Bayswater crew who are busy prepping and pouring concrete for the dive structure base slab. 24.01.2022 Our men of steel are doing their best blue steel impersonations while installing the steel reinforcement required for the Midland Line retaining wall. After cro...ssing over the Forrestfield Line, the Perth-bound Midland Line trains will continue travelling on the southern side of the dive structure before reaching Bayswater Station. 110 cubic metres of concrete will be needed to turn this section of steel frames into a solid structure. We think Superman and Zoolander would be impressed with these steely efforts! See more

12.01.2022 Holy backfill Batman! We are using recycled spoil from tunnelling operations to backfill the Forrestfield Station retaining wall, with the ground level already raised by 2.5m along some sections of the wall.

11.01.2022 On February 14 TBM Grace temporarily ceased tunnelling and today TBM Sandy was stopped 40m behind her, a little more than 1500m into tunnel two. 10.01.2022 TBM Grace is starting the year with a new fitness program. First up, increasing her reps - repdigits that is, with 55% of her overall tunnelling journey and 7...7% of the tunnel section between Airport Central and Redcliffe stations now completed.
