21.01.2022 Tools of the trade! Ever wondered how on earth you work with a VA who's not right beside you? It can be done, for sure! Here is a list of some of the tools I like to use with my clients or tools that can help you when working with a VA. ... Communications: Zoom, WhatsApp, Messenger, Email, Google Meet File-Sharing: Google Drive, Dropbox, iCloud Project Management: Asana, Dubsado, Monday, Trello Password Sharing: Lastpass, DashLane, 1Password I have personally used all of these platforms (apart from DashLane and 1Password but have had a lot of glowing recommendations from other VAs for the two). What are your favs?
21.01.2022 This is for anyone who may need to hear this today!

17.01.2022 A question I often get asked is what scheduling tools I use to schedule social media posts. For the most part, I use Creator Studio and Later. Creator Studio can be used for cross-posting to IG & FB and Later has access to FB, IG, Twitter and Pinterest. ... What scheduling tools do you like to use?
17.01.2022 Yesterday I shared a tip over in a networking group that I am a part of with the Laptops & Lattes Community, The Espresso Lounge. I've had some awesome feedback about how good it is so I thought I'd share here too! When you're finding yourself becoming unproductive because you keep having shiny object syndrome (when you get easily distracted by other things or thoughts) this is what I do: I have a notepad on my desk, always. Whenever a random thought comes creeping in I qu...ickly write it down and continue with the task ahead. This way I don't have to worry about forgetting about that idea! I hope that helps!
15.01.2022 Could not have said this better myself!
11.01.2022 How many social media platforms do you have an account for your business with? I have 4: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn & Pinterest. Do you use all of yours?
09.01.2022 Do you still use business cards? I think they're still important and relevant in business today. You never know who you might meet or bump into and carrying them in your purse or your phone holder can prove VERY handy! Show me yours!
06.01.2022 There is SO much to learn going into business for yourself. Here are 3 things I'd like to share about running a business: It is not easy! It is hard work, determination and an investment in yourself. Anyone who says running a busy is easy is lying. While it's not always hard, it is hard work - and worth it! ... You're not always going to be everyone's cup of tea - and that's ok! Don't take 'no' personally. If you have a family you need to find balance. Time-blocking is a great tool. Ensure you're not working so hard that you're missing out on quality family time. Setting expectations with your clients from the get-go is a must. If you don't work certain days or hours make your clients aware. What's one thing you've learnt being in business for yourself? I'd love to hear your thoughts!
04.01.2022 SO, you've started your business... it's SO exciting! And you've created social media profiles EVERYWHERE! My piece of advice - DON'T DO IT! Do not spread yourself so thin that you have no time for anything else. ... WHERE do your ideal clients hang out? You need to be present there! For me, it's Facebook and Instagram... I also have a LinkedIn profile which I don't utilise as well as I probably should (I know, a Social Media Manager not utilising every platform, say WHAAAAT!?) As a very wise person, by the name of Mel from Blink by Miss Melly & VA Institute, has said on multiple occasions: pick 1 or 2 platforms and do them WELL - that one stuck with me!
03.01.2022 So much partying!!! Although, I could do with some more naps! How do you like to party, my fellow Mum?
01.01.2022 School holidays start today in WA. Are school holidays something you dread or enjoy?
