10.01.2022 Hi ALL Firstly, let me introduce myself. I am Eddie Lawrence and have taken over the position of Marina Manager from David Kirkland. Some of you I have already met and still many more I look forward to meeting. As you would be aware these are certainly challenging times for us all.... The purpose of this email is to inform berth holders of the Marina Gates new closing time. From the 1st of April the gate will be closed each weekday at approximately 4.30 pm and possibly 24hrs over the weekends. The reason for this is to prevent as far as possible, unauthorized access to the marina by the public. Berth holders and associated tradespeople are permitted access to the Marina for minor repairs, maintenance and vessel inspections. However, I would ask that this to be kept to a minimum wherever possible Toilets shower and laundry facilities are for the sole use of live-aboards and staff employed within the marina. You should now all be aware of the latest social gathering and distancing laws. I remind everyone that they have a duty of care to take responsibility for their own and others health and safety in these testing times We should all ensure good hygiene practices including hand washing and sanitising to protect ourselves and others against infection. For those of you who require a gate pass please let me know and I will arrange this for you. A $50 deposit is required and will be refunded on return of the gate pass. Please call or email if you have any questions. With Thanks Eddie. Marina Manager

05.01.2022 Hi all Hope you have kept safe and well over the winter period and I'm sure you are all looking forward to some fair weather and a great boating season ahead. The marina will be busy over the next few months with the facility upgrades to start early September and be completed by the Christmas period. During this time there may be a few minor disruptions, some dust and a bit of noise. However we will do our best to keep this to a minimum. The existing laundry area will not be ...accessible while the building works are ongoing so we will set up the washing machines and dryer temporarily under the verandah for your usage. Please obey any safety signage or barricades during this time The Marina TUCKSHOP opens 28th September. The former Marina Café has had a change of name and management. I would like to introduce and welcome Courtney, Sharon and Ash to the marina. They are all fully trained chefs and highly regarded within the industry. Over the next few weeks they will be preparing The Marina Tuckshop ready to open the doors on the 28th September. Their intention is to initially open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9am to 2pm. As demand grows so will the opening hours. They will be cooking the usual hot takeaway foods for morning tea and lunch, but will also provide a range of takeaway ready-to-heat and serve evening meals. These will also be available for lunch in the cafe from the September opening date. For now, we’ve been told to let you know that the coffee machine is on whenever there is someone in the cafe so hot drinks are available now. So please feel welcome to drop in to say hello to the new Tuckshop team in these challenging COVID times. (cash payments only at this stage) Below is an example of the kinds of dishes that will be on offer. Takeaway meals will be priced at $10. Beef Lasagne Beef Curry Mexican Beef & Rice Vegetarian Lasagne Vegetarian Pumpkin and Parmesan Risotto Vegetable Dahl & Rice Chicken Casserole & Mash Chicken Thai Green Curry
