22.01.2022 Thank you to Hazel and her family for sharing their traditions and culture with the Emus this morning. Hazels Mum, Sam, came in today to demonstrate pumpkin carving with the children. Tomorrow is Halloween and the children at Prior Street are invited to dress up for kindy!

21.01.2022 Congratulations to Vanessa who has been teaching and caring for the children at Prior Street for 10 years. We are so grateful to have Vanessa on our team. She is much loved by the children, past and present. Over the last 10 years she has introduced a number of new initiatives to Prior Street, including our Bush Kindy program. Thank you to Vanessa for her hard work, passion, and enthusiasm. Vanessa is a big part of what makes our Centre great.

21.01.2022 We were very lucky to have the Queensland Police Service come and visit us yesterday. We welcomed Sergeant Stewart, Senior Constable Annette ,Constable John Paul and Clancy the Koala to Prior Street! We listened as they talked to us about safety, gave high fives and cuddles to Clancy the Koala and we ventured outside to check out the police car.

We attended the awards ceremony on Friday, and while we didnt win our catagory, we are really proud to have been nominated alongside active, passionate organisations who, like us, value high quality outdoor play and education. Thank you to MaTe and En Young on their professionalisms and hard work and for providing the children with delicious high quality meals.

The kindergarten children were eager to support and guide their younger peers as they explored this part of the bush for the first time. 01.01.2022 On Saturday night some of the staff from PSCCD went to see Vanessa perform in Savoyards production of The Boy From Oz. Vanessa plays Judy Garland. She was brilliant: what a star! Her acting and singing was magnificent. We are so proud of her: so talented. She was the star of show!
