16.01.2022 Opportunities Are Like Sunrises, If You Wait Too Long You Can Miss Them

12.01.2022 I have purchased the office that I had been leasing for the past few years. It is a lovely office and the settlement happened this afternoon.

10.01.2022 Dear Friends, Wishing you all a very Happy Deepavali! May this festival of lights bring happiness and prosperity to you. The festival of Deepavali celebrates the return of Lord Rama to his kingdom. It took him 16 days to walk back to his kingdom. He was accompanied by his wife, Sita and his step brother Laxman. The festival also celebrates the responsibilities that we have towards our family, whether they are our own or step family. Lord Rama did not have to go to exile but, he did so on his own volition. Let us celebrate the victory of good over evil by lighting lamps and candles at our home. Let us all dispel the darkness from our hearts and minds and celebrate Deepavali by bringing light to our lives and everyone else whose lives we happen to touch. Let us make a positive difference.

09.01.2022 Yesterday (August 7th) I attended the Annual AIBC (Australia India Business Council) meeting. There were quite a number of guests and speakers at the event. Tony Abbot (Australian PM) was supposed to come, however, he could not make it as he had to be in Melbourne to attend the Memorial Day service in memory of the people who died in the MH17 crash. He sent across a televised address for the gathering. Other guests and speakers included Julie Bishop (Foreign Minister), Margie... Abbot (Tony Abbot's wife), Brett Lee, Mike Baird (NSW Premier) Indian High Commissioner and others. The event was well coordinated and there was a good amount of networking happening. The food was great. For the main course, I had Salmon with crispy skin. Overall, a very enjoyable and fruitful evening. The event finished a bit later than anticipated. I reached office this morning a bit groggy eyed. See more
