12.01.2022 HomeBuilder changes announced! Are you considering a building project in the near future- either a new home build or some substantial renovations to your home? The Government has extended its HomeBuilder Program with several important changes announced.... The Grant amount for building contracts for new builds and substantial renovations signed up to and including 31 December remains at $25,000. The Grant amount for building contracts for new builds and substantial renovations signed between 1 January 2021 up to and including 31 March 2021 is $15,000. This is a new grant. The construction commencement timeframe has been extended from three to six months. This has also been backdated to applications signed on or after 4 June 2020. The deadline for the submission of all HomeBuilder applications has also been extended to 14 April 2021. For full details please visit https://treasury.gov.au/coronavirus/homebuilder
