Seems that QLD education underestimated how many people would be logging onto their platforms... ahh... takes me back to census night 2016..... Anyway, here are some things that might help you if your child is in a state school in the great state of Queensland. ... A) Your students have a full version of Microsoft Office included in their login. You can download it from https://portal.office365.com (be sure to use your child's username and password to sign in) B) Public schools (well at least Brightwater State School) use blackboard for online collaborative learning. You will need to download and install the blackboard app on your computer before you join the session. Some extra help on this can be found -> https://help.blackboard.com//Launch_Collaborate_from_Windo C) Setting up your child's email in outlook on PC or Mac will make it easier to use content locally, and reduce the strain on your internet. Remember your child's email is likely to be their school username with "@eq.edu.au" after it. more instructions can be found here -> https://support.office.com//add-an-email-account-to-outloo After that, just take a deep breath.... this took an hour or so tonight to work through for 3 kids.
