15.01.2022 So usually promoters put a post up thanking everyone and saying how good they are and what a great show blah blah... then they will tag in all the gyms that took part, maybe mention a fight that stood out from the others and then....zzzzzzzz.....I don't know about you but i skim that shit to make sure i got a mention the scroll down. If you fought well last night i made a point of finding u, shaking ur hand and told you to your face what a friggen rock star you are.. if i di...d that to everyone then it would mean nothing. I only deal with cool gyms that don't need to read a fb post to know how much i appreciate and respect their efforts. Last night i failed, i threw a great fight show where when i did the rounds all but 2 fights where nominated for fight of the night, no-one was unhappy with any of the match ups and i had 0 trainers asking me to review judges decisions. Everyone got paid and the sold out crowd looked happy in a place so awesome its like it was built for fight shows like mine!! The reason I failed is because of a few mistakes i made my team was still working for hours after the show finished when they should have been celebrating, with better planning and organisation this could have been avoided. Because of this I am not annaouncing Revelation 5 as a success as i have every other Revelation event. The show isn't over when the final bell sounds and I let my team down, I am 100% responsible and am 100% never going to let it happen again. To the volunteers and staff who are also some of my closest friends on earth I am humbled at what you guys did without me even having to ask, smiling and joking while working your asses off without even a single comment or complaint. You guys deserve better and that's what you will get. Great Fight night, veteran fighter, experienced trainer but an absolute novice promoter, like i tell the boys when u win u grin when you lose you learn..The only thing i ever gave up on was giving up so ill see you all July 15 , Prodigy Fight Night, i hope you enjoyed the fights thanks for your support, i'll try harder.
