25.01.2022 It is not often that one has the opportunity of turning a beautiful old house in one of Melbourne's most prestigious bayside suburbs into what will become an amazing architectural masterpiece. But this is one of those rare and exciting occasions. Construction on this wonderful home started in November 2017 and is now complete

20.01.2022 The acoustic performance of the building is critical in such a vast workspace. In order to maximize the volume of the space there are no ceilings going in to the open plan areas. An acoustic spray is being applied to provide a comfortable environment to work in. It is quite amazing the difference that the treatment makes once applied.

18.01.2022 Site establishment commenced in October 2020 with the team from Shape quickly getting set up for their 6 month fitout program.

14.01.2022 One of the most exciting spaces going in to OurPlace will be known as the Ngargee. Ngargee is an indigenous word for gathering place. The Ngargee is a double height space that will have tiered seating and large AV screens. The space will be used to conduct events and will have space for over 100 people. When not in use as an event space it will also be able to be used as an informal meeting space.

14.01.2022 The redevelopment of Sacred Heart Primary School is another new education project which continues to demonstrate Project Insites diversified portfolio of projects. The first part included the demolition of an old classroom building and construction of an elegantly designed new classroom building, a cost-effective expansion of the school to cater for the student needs. The 12 classrooms are based on the more modern design philosophy of open plan learning for primary school students. Following completion of the new classrooms, Project Insite is now managing expansion of the existing carpark to allow for more efficient children drop-off and pick-up as well as providing more than 60 additional parking spaces. Construction is expected to be complete in August.

13.01.2022 One of the key objectives for the OurPlace project is to have a design that is reflective of RMITs commitment to reconciliation. Earlier this week we were privileged to participate in a campfire in the grounds of the NGV adjacent the magnificent In Absence installation. Project architect ARM have been collaborating with Spacecraft and Indigenous artists from Kaiela Gallery in Shepparton to develop wall treatments that will be applied throughout the space. ... Around the campfire the artists shared their vision for bringing ancient techniques to contemporary applications. The artists have transformed charcoal from campfires such as this one into the dyes that have been used to create the wall treatments for OurPlace.

13.01.2022 Taking our network of change champions and senior leaders from RMITs Property Services department through the site prior to the Christmas breakup. The change champion network consists of over 50 people from the different departments who are currently spread across 8 buildings and will all be moving to OurPlace in 2020.

12.01.2022 Sometimes immense enjoyment and satisfaction comes from small packages. This is one of those cases - helping one of my regular clients with a family member's home renovation. I could not have worked for anyone more lovely than this client and their family. May she enjoy her newly renovated home for many years to come

11.01.2022 One of the exciting collaboration spaces starting to take shape. This space will be known as The Treehouse and will provide a space for staff to conduct informal meetings.

04.01.2022 We’re now organising a series of regular Virtual Discussions with industry colleagues around the topic of ‘Emerging from COVID: Where to from here?’ For our second Virtual Discussion we are going to concentrate on the Health sector. We see this as a great opportunity to listen, be heard and speculate where the industry leaders (health professionals, architects, builders, solicitors, believe the Health & related property industry is headed in the next 6 to 18 months. Stay tuned to this space....

02.01.2022 Project Insite is proud to have been involved with the refurbishment of RMIT Universitys Oxford Scholar Hotel. First opened in 1887 the historic pub located at 427 Swanston Street, Melbourne has been a long standing venue for students, staff and community to gather. The new look Oxford re-opened in April 2019. Project Insites Jeremy Hearst was appointed as Project Manager representing RMIT.
