This system is priced at around $12,000 out of pocket after the government rebate of $7,700 is applied to the retail price of $19,700. A system this size is ideal for a household or buisness with a power bill of around $4000 per year. It will save an average of $3000 per year, so in four years time when the energy savings have paid for the system the owner will be putting $3000 per year back into their pockets!... 18.01.2022 Recently we installed this 39kW commercial size solar system for a local table grape grower here in Mildura to offset the cool room running cost over the harvest period. Our customer had an annual total bill of around $30,000 per year and the cost for this system after all rebates were applied was around $35,000. Now they will save an estimated $12,000-$16,000 per year on power which turns this purchase into a 2-3 year return on investment. The question is not: Will install...ing a solar system pay for itself? They always do. What you want to be asking is: How long does it take to really start saving? We supply and install residential and commercial solar systems, hybrid solar systems (solar and battery) and complete off-grid battery systems from 3kW-100kW and beyond so we will have a system for you.
