23.01.2022 Create Cures was founded in 2015 by Professor Valter D Longo. The foundation was established to advance research focused on developing creative therapies to prevent and treat serious diseases, and strategies that promote longer, healthier lives. Create Cures Foundation aims to support all people, so even patients with limited financial means, can benefit from new knowledge in an equitable way. The programs dedicated to improving healthy lifespan include: (1) research on nut...rition and longevity, (2) assisting patients with life threatening conditions who have exhausted treatment options and want to improve the effectiveness of standard therapies while minimizing side-effects, and (3) community-based programs that provide healthy food to people who are experiencing marginalization and express need. Professor Longo’s internationally bestselling book, The Longevity Diet, is based on 30 years of aging research. The secret of longevity is described in the book and lies in cellular regeneration triggered by a special diet. We have the power to heal ourselves through the food we eat by adhering to his Fasting-Mimicking Diet. All book proceeds from the sale of The Longevity Diet are donated by Professor Longo to the Create Cures Foundation. Exciting news! Amazon Australia has selected The Longevity Diet valued at $23.75for their Kindle New Year-New You promotion. This means you can purchase the Kindle version for just $4.99 anytime through January 2019. Start your New Year off on the right foot, towards healthy longevity. https://www.amazon.com.au/Longevity-Diet-Disc//ref=sr_1_1

16.01.2022 We have unfortunately experienced several problems with deliveries to Australia and New Zealand from the US. Many parcels were intercepted by biosecurity and customs on arrival in Australia. We do not see a resolution to this so all deliveries from the US have now been suspended. Supply of ProLon to Australia and New Zealand will not be possible until we have our own stock available locally. We hope to launch ProLon in October in New Zealand and in November in Australia.

01.01.2022 High-protein diets boost artery-clogging plaque, mouse study shows. Such diets lead to weight loss but could increase heart attack risk. High-protein diets may help people lose weight and build muscle, but a new study in mice suggests they have a down side: They lead to more plaque in the arteries. Further, the new research shows that high-protein diets spur unstable plaque the kind most prone to rupturing and causing blocked arteries. ... More plaque buildup in the arteries, particularly if it’s unstable, increases the risk of heart attack. There are clear weight-loss benefits to high-protein diets, which has boosted their popularity in recent years, said senior author Babak Razani, MD, PhD, an associate professor of medicine. But animal studies and some large epidemiological studies in people have linked high dietary protein to cardiovascular problems. https://medicine.wustl.edu//high-protein-diets-boost-arte/ #prolonfmd #nutraofficial #valterlongo #thelongevitydiet
