15.01.2022 We've had a couple of very welcome guests (of the avian variety) join us here at Promised Land Retreat this week. These two Tawny Frogmouths have been keeping cool by hiding out under the banana trees. These are just one of the numerous bird varieties that can be found in the Bellingen Shire. 15.01.2022 We stumbled across the beautiful 'Superb Lyrebird' in Dorrigo National Park on our way to Crystal Shower falls. A visit to the Dorrigo National Park and the escarpment is a must for anyone staying at the 'Promised Land Retreat' for more than a couple of days. The waterfalls looked even more spectacular after the recent rains.
