20.01.2022 So one final day tomorrow in Cygnet. Monday. Then back in September after a working holiday in Blighty amongst other spots. On offer tomorrow. Cornish pasties, Vegan pasties, Steak n kidney pies, Beef and local ale pies, Sausage rolls(Sally Wises recipe) no carrot! What’s that doing in a sausage roll? Bacon, basil tomato and Feta, silverbeet, mint savoury tarts. ... And a Moroccan roasted pumpkin soup and garlic croutons Plus the French cinnamon doughnuts See you on a dry Monday?

18.01.2022 Tomorrow in Cygnet, at my usual location. I’ll have all the usual, Pasties, savoury tarts and French cinnamon doughnuts. Plus Sausage rolls, Steak and local ale pies, roasted Jerusalem artichoke and pink fir apple potato soup with garlic croutons. Also have a Huon valley apricot, cream cheese and local hazelnut strudel. I love preparing any kind of strudel. Just a completely different area of baking. Quite simple actually, once you have key pieces of equipment. See you in the morning bright and early!
18.01.2022 This is the town where I first made Cornish pasties as a teenager in my school holidays. 50 pence an hour I think it was. We were taught to crimp by a local Looe fisherman. And I used to cycle to work over a couple of miles or so. I was 14. Fond memories

14.01.2022 This weekend I shall be in Woodbridge Saturday and Judbury Sunday. I’ve really gone to town this weekend. It is Mother’s Day after all on Sunday and ought to be Saturday too. What would we do without Mums, if you’re lucky enough still to have one. I’ll have my Pasties, two sizes. Vegan pasty. Huon valley beef and local ale pies. My savoury tarts. Egg and bacon pies. Sausage rolls. And a Pea and ham soup. ... Then there’s the French cinnamon doughnuts. And quince curd filled ones. And wait for it Mums. We have Bannofee pies. Lemon tarts. Cornish saffron cake using Glaziers bay saffron. And Coffee cream puffs Think that’s everything! See you there hopefully.

04.01.2022 Proper Pasties in Cygnet town today, Monday. Usual spot. Till 2/3pm And away to Europe and Cornwall come the 7 June. So next Cygnet market my last till September Work and play in my beloved County of Cornwall. And a weeks work on a Greek Island. It’ll be hard work but wonderful at the same time
