24.01.2022 The big F Truck finally arrived back at the shop, looking pretty good for a farm truck Big thanks to Joe at Kustom Panel and paint for helping me get this in and out...

24.01.2022 Its been quite a while so thought I should do some updating! Here goes.... First up, Mikes VB/VC custom Brock project... WOW! We had a few issues found in the engine with worn cam lobes and cam timing issues and low on compression so, a full rebuild was in order! It now has flat tops in a decked block, a new 286 cam, some head work, new roller rockers, Edelbrock manifold etc. and should be a really nice warmed up package! We then dressed the motor up starting with some killa detailed painting by Xclusive FX (cheers Neil Moneypenny) and freshened everything around it in Mazda Soul red candy, the result is mint! All nice and clean and will be reliable for many years to come! Next is some minor rust work and finish the car in Mazda Soul red with full HDT Brock body kit!

24.01.2022 A sneak peak at a little project weve been working on is this beautiful VS series III Olympic Edition ute. With the popularity of the VN-VS on the rise Im sure well see a lot more of these being restored to their former glory. This 2000 model is the last of the VS, being an Olympic Edition it comes with many upgrades like electric windows, leather/velour trim, VT spec roller 5.0L V8 plus lots more! On this one we have tidied up the paint work and it looks nothing short of sensational! An interior clean up to get rid of some horrible blue plastic paint job, fitted a colour coded hard lid and heaps more! The new wheels are on their way which will really set the car off - 20 staggered walky wheels! Killa! Should be a mint example of this model once completed!

22.01.2022 Another killa HQ is Brad’s that’s coming along perfectly! Gaps looking mint, body lines also look straight ready for some primer and Cherry black to start early next week! Big thanks to the guys at Kustom Rides for getting this one done for us, tight deadline to get this bad ass HQ done! So exciting!! Love this car!!! Tough chev is nearly built, trim is nearly completed, 6 Spd gearbox is built so we should be ready for all hands on and go to get this one built!

21.01.2022 Its been a little while but Ive been very excited about jumping back on this big custom job! The CHOPT EK! Got the IFS back from powder coating and had the front subframe all smoothed out so we can start to dummy up engine, gearbox and continue with firewall mods and finally Ill be cutting the floor out and building the new full chassis with four linked 9.... massive job but worth every bit of the journey! I saw the latest street machine mag and started frothin over that mint EK hahaha wait till Ive finished with this one!!

19.01.2022 This ones just finished in panel and paint and ready for assembly! Jons HJ GTS looks awesome in factory absinthe yellow and black! Weve got trim happening and bumpers re-chromed and all sorts on the go, will be another mint car when completed!

18.01.2022 Another build weve been punching away at is this beautiful XR Falcon A super tough build in preparation for a very angry, very high HP, n/a engine. So weve fitted a 9 capable of 850hp, a heavily modified C4 with 4 planetary gear set, 4 driveshaft with billet yokes etc etc currently running a 302 for licensing that looks the goods for street duties! This will be another one of our epic builds thatll look the bomb and go super hard! Hoping to get this on the strip and put down some competitive ETs once it gets 800hp in it!

18.01.2022 Lastly for now, always leave my favourites till last haha! This tough bad boy! Brad's HQ Diff is in with all new suspension, front end is now back on after a full strip and upgrade with all the usual best gear, p/s pump recon, new disc brakes, complete new suspension package plus powder coating the whole lot! Epic! To top it off some Gts rims, 15's with the big fat rears just what Brad the boss asked for! Killer car! Love it!

17.01.2022 Another one done and dusted that I couldnt wait to drive was the XC GS wagon... we did a heap of work to this car, wheels, tint, trim, stereo, diff, exhaust and that sic as f#%* 408ci stroker filled with quality parts that make one tough wagon!

17.01.2022 I can't wait to play with this!!! I can't disclose power figures or cubes or the cars identity but what a weapon! This car will wipe a few smiles off some faces if you pull up next to it for a race! All the best gear getting packed in to it! Haha! 17.01.2022 Nolas Torana also looking sic!!!! After the new body kit was fitted up we then fitted some hq front brakes and a 9 diff that accommodates the big GTS wheel combo and wow! Also had some seat mountings and battery relocated. This will be one tough factory Orchid pink Torana! The tough specs on the new 308 should be good coupled to a T5 will make for one mint car!!!

16.01.2022 Well it's been a very long time, day after day and long nights have been spent on this car with hours and hours racking up over the last 13 months and after the last couple weeks our team at K&F and Pro Show Kustoms finalised every detail, every edge, every panel square mm by mm, not a sandpaper scratch, not a square or uneven panel edge to get perfect gaps, nothing as we all scrutinised every detail over and over getting frustrated with each other, trialling stainless trim f...itment, I could go on but the result is mind blowing.... the talent displayed by all involved so far shows as this beautiful HQ GTS 4dr takes its next stages in paint! It got to a point where the car has been kept under wraps and not much posted on its progress but our excitement has let us give you a sneak preview of our work! It will go under wraps again and wait till it's debut at the hot rod show where our team of guys will display our best efforts! Thank you to all our team, words can not explain my appreciation! 16.01.2022 Well, we grabbed the chance at some booth time after we were happy with the body and prep to finally get some colour on this bad boy!!!! The result - perfect! Punk has done a wicked job of painting it and getting it gun barrel straight! Cheers mate! Gonna be one killa car with Goya red interior and nasty 434 chev combo if not sold straight away....

14.01.2022 Its been a while since our last post of updates and we apologise for that as we have been overwhelmed with work and kept extremely busy! Theres been all sorts that weve been up to with full builds progressing, engineering, engine work and nice combos being put together and even a little fabrication... top it off with a couple of very frustrating diagnostic jobs that we got great results with in the end! So heres a small selection of some of the cars which Ill update individually over the coming weeks one at a time! Thanks to our clients for their patience and everyone elses support and for following our work.

13.01.2022 A welcome and thank you goes out to Carl and his family for the job on his genuine HQ GTS Monaro. Carl and his wife brought us their newly purchased car for us to get rid of the 80s out of it and turn it into something special. I think the results are perfect! There were some extras along the way that only added to the overall outcome and I think it has exceeded our expectations and Carl has now got a timeless classic that will only appreciate in years to come! So the car ...had some real ugly globe rims, mud flaps, an 80s roof aerial, some dents and slightly misaligned panels, no stripes, an ugly tri light rear bumper, some badges removed, those ugly 350 fender decals and a red/black custom 80s velour trim package... for a very decent car it had lost its way a little so we went to work...! A full new interior package, seats, door trims, luxury plush carpet, roof lining, sun visors, arm rests, some new chrome handles, beautifully restored seat belts, we put a new fish scale facia in it and dash lens kit, a GTS clock was sourced and fitted and we fitted a console where we custom fitted the B&M shifter to suit and put in a custom shifter plate with a Dakota digital led gear selector screen, a new Bluetooth stereo was added and speakers moved from front doors to the new kicker panels the list goes on and on... the result, absolutely mint!! We continued on and painted the GTS stripes on and unfortunately a small hiccup but nothing that couldnt be sorted so we re-aligned panels and gaps repaired dents, filled the roof aerial hole and painted all repairs. Again the car started to really take shape but wheels were killing it so one day Carl rocked up with a set of alloy GTS rims and oh man they look just like the real deal but better and in 15 allowing us to fit some big 60 profile Mickey Thompson tyres! We added white walls in a thinner line to keep it classy and Carl opted to reverse the GTS black out theme on the flutes and go white and at first I wasnt a fan but I think hes nailed it! It all flows and looks a treat! We added badges back on it and thankfully got rid of the tri light bumper, some new plates just to give it a new identity as a killer HQ monaro to grace our streets again! We treated the car to a Little dyno tune just to iron out any bugs and a new suspension package is next on the list to really get the stance right for the toughest look! 13.01.2022 Ok couple of our own, the big VK!! Just getting started finally on some assembly work, body kit getting the black outs on the mouldings, before its fitted up, some new gas struts for the bonnet and new headlights and indicators to get us started... trim about to be fitted as well, will look the goods as it progresses further! Will be ready for sale very soon!

12.01.2022 Another car that is nearing completion is the beautiful XR build. A massive wiring job on this car with additions like Vintage Air, Dakota climate control, E-Stopp electric handbrake, Passive key system, Retro Sound stereo system, Holley billet fuel pumps, just to name a few and finally its first power up!!! A couple little things to do and we will be firing it up to run it in! Big thanks to Eddie and Ayman for getting the electrics working and super neat work!

10.01.2022 Thank you to John for giving us the opportunity to supply his new wheel and tyre package on probably the cleanest Calais Ive ever seen! 20 staggered dish Walky Wheels! The pics of this up around Kalgoorlie way look perfect! One sweet ride!

10.01.2022 So here comes another special in-house project car going up for grabs!! We recently acquired this beautiful HT Kingswood wagon, factory V8, running, driving, licensed car. After checking it out we realised it was such a good example except for a rear door and tailgate that weve had to find better core replacements for. Were currently prepping it all up with the body and new front GTS guards all ready for final block and paint in Jet Black! This will look the goods with the stainless trims and original hub caps and Nasco optioned dress rings, add to that a killer little chev combo, th400, 9 and a new Goya red interior and some lucky buyer will be able to enjoy it for years to come! Coming soon.

09.01.2022 Vince & Evas Mustang was finished off and wow what a result!!! This is one serious car now! 427 all fitted up and a test drive and oh yer... mint! Squeeze the pedal in 2nd or 3rd and hold the wheel cos it breaks traction and is a whole lot of fun! Pretty sure Vince was over the moon with the result by the smile on his face and even said hed have to learn how to drive all over again! Haha awesome! Car has since had a really nice stainless exhaust system fitted which sounds great and is currently back in for a little fuel pump issue but will be back out hitting the street in no time!

08.01.2022 Another car that's slowly but surely coming along, Nick's V8 LJ GTR. With the new chassis rails in place it was time to get the floor pans sorted, now the floor is nearly ready for the chassis strengthening kit to go back in and underbody sealer to tidy it all up! Also repaired rust in the rear beaver and spare wheel well and lower 1/4 panels. Getting there.

07.01.2022 Henks gorgeous 1946 Pontiac fleetline was back in today for a quick check over and detail in preparation for a photo shoot for a magazine feature! Such an awesome car with the worked big block chev in it!

07.01.2022 Boys finally got the the time between a few other jobs we are busy with to get the colour down and wow its killer! Will be posting progress on a few other cars very soon! Definitely going to be tears when this sells! Until then well continue with the build as time allows us to...!

06.01.2022 Next is good friend of mine, Phils HZ GTS. If ya ever had a wish list this would tick every box! A killer 355 Holden stroker packed with quality parts! Another sic paint job by Joe at Kustom Panel and Paint (cheers Joe) that makes this engine bay pop! Add to that a work of art billet pulley system from Reid Speed, an ICE Ignition, Holley Sniper injection kit and weve added one of Brendos mint exhaust systems with remote control dump pipes... just awesome!! Just a clutch issue to sort and its test drive time

06.01.2022 Russ has visited us again and we thank him for being a loyal and returning customer and the job on his VH SL/E. So the car returned to us with a slipping 2nd gear, on strip down of the box it was found to be destroyed internally so out with the TH350 and in with an extremely tough TH400! This new box is awesome to drive, so smooth! While we were at it, power rack and pump were overhauled, starter replaced, flex plate had broken so it was replaced, exhaust, radiator, cooler all had some modifications Speedo recalibrated etc. great that weve sorted heaps more on the car as we get this car back to being a nice street car! Next on the list will be to remove the locker and fit an lsd... Cheers mate!

05.01.2022 Hello and welcome to Pro Show Kustoms, once again I am getting notifications telling me to do some updating on our page so enjoy our latest post updates on some awesome steel bumper cars! Starting with a wild Bronco, this thing is a beast! Big cube big block, loud and angry but suffered from some rust starting to come through so we fixed the rust made a custom bonnet and began the paint process... this one has taken some time to get it to the level Ive been asked to achieve but now its finally looking good and nearly ready to finish of its mad pearl white paint!

Major work being done on both sides with all doors, sills, pillars, plenum ends and gaps being sorted! Also a really nice hidden wiper motor set up from Boosted Fabrication being fitted up

04.01.2022 Finally!!!! We have reached a major milestone with our client Johns Torana! This bad boy is now fully engineered, licensed and % street legal!!! Its been an awesome build with John and to be able to deliver a result with something many people have said cant be done makes me very proud to say we did it! A massive thanks to our team for all the efforts as we raced to the final hour before inspection time! We just needed a little more time but our good ol department of ...Transport denied us! Seems they didnt want us to make it in time so they could get out of licensing the car if we didnt make the deadline... well, nothing lots of late nights couldnt sort out and we got there! On top of this the new power to weight rule was thrown at us if we had to re submit an application, so, just to be on the safe side we even made it have the right power to weight figures..! Hahaha thats a win in my book so John will now get to enjoy many years to come with this weapon of a car! Next on the car is the final chapter, fitting the rest of the a/c, changing over to electric windows, a rework of the flares/spoiler kit and some final touch ups for completion... See more

03.01.2022 Brads VL also nearly back to Calais spec, all the a/c, alternator, p/s sorted with correct brackets, pulleys, intermediate shaft etc. weve had it fired up and sounds good next to be rewired!

02.01.2022 Getting through the updates, couple to go... Another new client, thanks Vince & Eva for trusting us with their beautiful 1969 Mach 1 Mustang! Wow what a car! The cream trim, the nice blue paint and condition is unbelievable there's no rust in this one! In to have some extra horses tucked under the bonnet.. so what better choice than a monster 427ci hydraulic roller combo! This will be one tough stang while we're at it we'll fit up the new Ididit tilt steering column and upgrade the clutch linkage to the race car rose jointed Z link kit. Keen to see the numbers on the dyno from this one!

02.01.2022 While were on the HJ Holdens our good friend young Nic brought his car back for a few little things... ahhhhh those hubcaps.... I painted every little bit black, by hand! never again! Sun visor fitted up and all stainless going on. A few paint touch ups and finishing touches oh and a twin 3 exhaust! Should sound tough with what Nic has done to this one! Ultimate sleeper - stock - weapon! Nice!!!!

Thanks Mike for giving us the opportunity to help source and transform your dream car, a VC Brock! Mike and I searched and scrutinised over several examples Australia wide on which one would suit his needs, luckily enough, this awesome car just landed on our laps and what a machine it is! And found locally!! The car is a VC SL/E running a worked 308 motor thats had some dollars thrown at it, a TH350, new suspension, VL turbo diff, it has a couple small spots of rust and a driveshaft issue etc. We will go over the car and tidy and repair a couple things and service it so Mike can start enjoying it! Then bit at a time we will transform it into a mint tribute to the great Mr Brocks version, a VC HDT
