You will not be required to sign prescriptions now to limit the spread of the virus We are encouraging the use of EFTPOS or credit card to reduce cash handling as another method to reduce the risk of transmission. We are also happy to take payment over the phone for those using our home delivery service. If you are in urgent need of your essential medications because you have not been able to access medical services, or your usual prescription from your doctor, please speak with your pharmacist directly about getting your essential medications without a prescription. Pharmacists will be able to provide most medications on the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) or the smallest standard pack not on the PBS. The Emergency Supply provision will stay in place for the period of time that the declaration of a major emergency remains in force or until further notice.
