25.01.2022 The ASM Strapwinder is the essential load strap accessory. This heavy duty mobile device is as simple to use as a fishing reel and rewinds ratchet straps to a convenient coil in only seconds. Rewinding ratchet straps is a time-consuming process and usually means they end up being kept unwound; which leads to them becoming entangled and knotted. Over time these unkempt straps become dishevelled & liable to fray, they also take up much needed space. The ASM Strapwinder provide...s the best solution to this problem which saves you valuable time & money rewinding straps in a matter of seconds - with one hand (left or right user available). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DH9J1NBJCcU

23.01.2022 A serious breach was spotted on the Hume Highway has the NSW Police appealing for information. Labelled #loadfail by the police, the truck was carrying a hatchback car on top of several hay bales. NSW Traffic and Highway Patrol Command Chief Inspector Phillip Brooks said the image was incomprehensible. "Its incredibly dangerous, in a heavy braking situation that car will almost certainly come off," he said. "It places the motorists and motorcycle riders around them in danger and would almost certainly lead to a serious incident where someone was hurt or killed." Always ensure you follow the Load Restraint Guide when securing items on your vehicle. #protectaload #PAL

03.01.2022 Perth has shivered through the coldest night for four years reaching 0.6C just after 7am but parts of the south of the state have plunged to nearly -4C. In this cold weather, ensure your windows are completely clear before you start driving and leave a larger gap than normal between you and the car in front when driving on wet roads.

03.01.2022 Load restraint is not just about ensuring your load does not come off, it is also about ensuring it does not shift, making the vehicle unsafe to handle or allows the load to crash into the drivers cabin, which may cause injury or death. #protectaload #PAL #dontforgetyourPAL #loadrestraint #roadsafety Photo courtesy of Traffic and Highway Patrol Command - NSW Police Force

01.01.2022 2015 road compliances and enforcement regulations require drivers to use approved webbing, tie-downs or certified rope (rope which has been endorsed by Australian standards). The changes to the road traffic act were originally due to come into place in April 27 2015. The new laws will bring WA into line with many of the eastern states and should make insurance for trucks cheaper. #protectaload
