We have worked tirelessly over the past 14 years to grow our business and be the best we can so to watch our friends, family and industry peers have to cut back hours or make the difficult decision to drop their doors for now has been truly heart breaking Wed like to express sincere gratitude to our loyal clientele who have kept us busy over the ye...ars. Weve had so many calls over the past week with clients informing us should we get quiet that they will have their bikes sent up for unscheduled maintenance, offers to pay jobs in advance to assist with cash flow if need be and clients deciding nows a good time to schedule that long discussed project. You guys are incredible. We couldnt be more grateful and fortunate to have you in our lives. This period is not without stress for everybody and your phone calls and support have really reinforced how lucky we are to have a job we love with amazing clientele who we genuinely care for and know care for us in return. It may have caused some tears That said as the amount of people affected by the coronavirus continues to grow weve decided to protect our clientele by closing the shop off to clients with bookings only. This includes new/future bookings made via phone and email only, until we are advised otherwise. Our clients health is our upmost priority during this time. As most of you would have noticed over the years Justin wears gloves where appropriate whilst working and will continue to do so. His hands are throughly washed/scrubbed and sanitised between jobs along with grips, keys, the counter tops and door handles are also sanitised between clients. Access will be via the office only and access to the workshop will not be permitted at this time. 22.01.2022 Motec Monday Weve been lucky enough to have worked on this very unique Vyrus over the years. Its fitted with a Ducati RS Factory Race Engine and has some very unique features such as carbon body work, carbon rotors and a centre hub steering front end. It has extensive carbon fibre and billet work and the engineering is beyond impressive. Next stop, well be fitting a Motec dash, modifying the exhaust and finishing up with a dyno tune. ... Justins been fortunate enough to have worked with so many of our amazing local riders but also Alan Cathcart, Paul Smart, Mal Campbell, Troy Bayliss, Mike Jones and Matt Battista. ... Hes built a race motor for a museum in Spain, pulled an all nighter to rebuild a motor for Mal Campbell on a dining room table in Phillip Island, eaten pasta prepared by Chef Troy Bayliss on the eve of WSBK/ASBK. All the nicest people youd ever meet. Although our first love will always be the Ducati theres no denying theres some seriously beautiful bikes out there which is where our love for the R1M comes from. This one in particular had the complete Rizoma Accesory Line Fitted, Akrapovic Exhaust, Custom Wrap and Dyno Tuned By Justin. What we love most about the job? 21.01.2022 Hi Guys, I’m beyond sorry for my absence the last few days. Kristen is due to have the baby in 2 weeks. Both her and Ava have been terribly unwell recently which has finally resulted in a visit to the hospital last week and again over the weekend. Kristen is a tough cookie and it takes a lot for her to say she’s not coping and needs me as we’ve always thought of the business as our number 1 priority. This time I’ve had to do what’s best and be there for my family. Both are c...urrently on bed rest for the next 2 days so I am currently absent from the shop as we have no one to call on for help but please rest assured I will be working extra hours to catch up and make sure I keep my pre Christmas schedule. Kristen still takes care of a lot of the admin side of things so she’ll be back on top of this shortly when she’s well enough. Thank you to those who have been so understanding. This bike came with a six figure purchase price which often shocks people until they get up close to the bike and see the impressive engineering that has gone into this build. 05.01.2022 Post 8 Of 9: Triumph 675 Street Triple R People often ask if Justin hates riding the old bevels, the answer is no, theyre actually one of his favourite bikes to ride as he describes it as the good old days when it was just you, the road and your bike and everything was simple. ... Another stand out over the years but in the moderns has been this Triumph 675 which could easily be underestimated for its power given its a 675 but the power delivery would surprise a lot of people. Again the list of upgrades is a credit to the owner who supplied us with a modification line up that only we could dream about. All work was carried out in house by Pro Twin Australia. When Justin pulled into the shop after his first test ride he looked at me and said I would buy one of these which is huge given the amount of bikes hes ridden and the capacity options. A lot of people are surprised to learn that Justin is a fitter/machinist by trade and we have our own lathe and mill on site. Every aspect of this build was fabricated by Justin in house. This bike gained just over 100HP which was limited by the factory RPM Limit which we could increase but the clutch was starting to slip. With a dry clutch conversion this bike would have gone well over the 100HP gain.
