Candidates with onsite construction experience in hydrotesting and working with tanks, pumps, pipes and valves will be highly regarded. 14.01.2022 Shoalhaven WWTP Stage 2 Upgrade Pructon was engaged by UGL to undertake the mechanical installation of all equipment associated with the $110m Waste Water Treatment Plant at Nowra and Bomaderry in NSW. The Nowra site was Green Fields with the Bomaderry site being Brown Fields. This has involved the installation of mechanical equipment such as pipework, valves and pumps. With a crew of over 60 personnel, Pructon has managed and executed the installation of all mechanical equipment associated with the plant and is currently moving into the commissioning phase of the project. Pructon also undertook fabrication of piping and structural steel for the project, Hydrotesting of all underground piping installed by others and rectification works.

12.01.2022 Fuel Farm Construction Pructon was responsible for the installation of the complete fuel handling facility for the Leichhardt gas fired power station in Mount Isa. The diesel fuel farm consisted of two 40,000 litre fuel tanks. Pructon successfully completed the installation of the pipework, supports and valves. Commissioning crews were responsible for the testing of the facility to ensure it operated to Client specifications. The fuel farm was a component of the complete works Pructon undertook on the $65m power station.

08.01.2022 Rotator welding in the Gladstone workshop of 300NB XS pipe. These are the legs to go onto the 270,000 Lt Blending Tanks being manufactured for Northern Oil.

06.01.2022 Design, fabrication and Installation a Deaerator Vessel. The existing 14T Deaerator vessel had failed, requiring the removal and replacement with a new vessel of a different design. This involved the disconnection of all welded pipework and grating and replacement and re connection of the pipework of differing material and configuration. Pructon undertook the engineering and design including finite element analysis of the pipework. Pructon’s mechanical crew successfully replaced the vessel and pipework under a tight schedule during a plant shut-down. All welds were inspected and passed all quality requirements
