20.01.2022 Day #26 of ACTober! And it’s.. The Bleeding Tree by Angus Cerini from Theatre Republic! A shot rings out across the night. A mother and her daughters take revenge on a life of misery, greeting the man of the house with a crack on the shins and a bullet in the neck.... But what do they do with the body? Capturing all the danger and isolation of the Australian outback, Angus Cerini’s multi award-winning play The Bleeding Tree is a contemporary gothic tale of revenge that is fierce, poetic, heart breaking and uncomfortably funny. Playing December 9-19 2020 Ngunyawayiti Theatre Tandanya Aboriginal Cultural Institute https://www.trybooking.com/events/landing?eid=536122& #performer #plays #psfsa #theatre #southaustralia #actober #adelaide #actor #theatrerepublic [Image Description: A woman in a brown patterned dress with dark brown hair is standing in front of an aged blue wooden door. 19.01.2022 For day #31 of #ACTober we’re looking back at all the amazing art that’s being created in SA & NT. It’s been a crazy year, but we’re so happy to see so much happening again in our neck of the woods! Artists are a resilient bunch, always the first to lend a hand and help raise funds for those in need, but never willing to admit that they might need a little help themselves.... If you know a performer who’s been doing it tough this year, who might need a little helping hand to get back on their feet, please talk to them, send them our way. We’re here to help, our process is quick and confidential.

16.01.2022 Just because ACTober is over doesn't mean we're going to stop sharing all the amazing productions coming soon that need your support! A dark comedy tracing the roots of betrayal; a tragedy about what we cannot forgive in the people we love. Strata and Forgiveness are the debut one-act works from South Australian writers and producers Peter Beaglehole and Piri Eddy. Coming to Rumpus in February, this is a double bill you don't want to miss!... Click below and donate if you can:
