15.01.2022 PLEASE READ - - Important information for all spectators, players and officials (coaches, umpires, etc) RETURN TO PLAY... AGAIN | We believe that we’re on track to re-open stadiums and competitions to re-start from Tuesday 1 December. Exactly what that looks like is still to be confirmed by the State Government The South Australian Government is introducing COVID SAfe Check-In, to enhance contact tracing and keep our community COVID safe. ... If someone in South Australia tests positive to COVID-19, COVID SAfe Check-In enables the State Government to quickly contact others who may have been exposed to the virus, controlling the spread. The mySA GOV app will have the COVID SAfe Check-In feature added to it before 1 December, which once opened, will allow you to scan a QR code, which will be displayed at the entrance of the stadium, with your mobile phone. When attending a club training you will need to scan the specific QR code which relates to your club. These will be available on the notice board at Hancock Stadium or the Complex. COVID SAfe Check In will roll out from Tuesday 1 December 2020 and more information about how to use it will be made available soon. You will not need to sign up for a mySA GOV account to use the COVID Safe Check-In, so you won't need to provide driver’s licence or vehicle registration details. When you arrive at the Complex or Hancock Stadium, you can check in by scanning the QR code using your mobile phone. You will receive a text confirmation when they check in. Information will be collected and stored securely in one place for 28 days, only released to SA Health for official contact tracing purposes. The app makes record keeping and contact tracing safe and easy. A paper recording log template will be available if you don’t have a mobile phone. When attending the complex please ensure you pay and move swiftly to the court area as with updated density requirements the café area is limited to 60 people As previously stated NO unaccompanied minor will be admitted access to the stadium. Finally up to date COVID health alerts are located in the window of the main entrance to the Complex. If any person have visited any location listed they are not permitted to enter the stadium and MUST follow the advice of SA Health. Your patience would be appreciated as we work through these requirements to manage the return to play and keeping everyone safe. https://my.sa.gov.au

15.01.2022 The Port Augusta Basketball Association (P.A.B.A) welcomes our members and spectators to the 2020/21 Season. We thank you all for your patience in starting the season, as the world continues to deal with the effects of COVID-19, we have obviously met numerous hurdles along the way, which we will work through together. Unfortunately we are still having issues with the registration process and we ask for further patience, as this is a fallout from COVID-19 and hopefully will be... rectified. If you have had issues registering, can you please email "[email protected]" to flag the issue. The P.A.B.A have worked closely with the Council staff at the Complex, to make entry and exit as efficient as possible. This will present issues and teething problems initially and we require everyone to work together, to ensure that we are all COVID compliant. Please read the P.A.B.A's return to play flyer, posted previously, as that details how we will operate within the confines of the COVID restrictions. Games will run a little differently this season; Clocks will continue to run and will not stop during Time Outs. Clock will stop in last 3 minutes. There will be no shooting on courts at any stage, besides the players for the scheduled game. All the best for Season 2020/21
