22.01.2022 Most times, things are very simple. We just tend to complicate and make excuses as to why we can’t do this or can’t do that. You could follow the ‘best’ programs in the world,but even then,if your not going to put the work in,your not going to get the results out,period. It’s that simple.... Get up, and get it done. 17.01.2022 Throwback Timeeeeee - Long story short,Yes this is me,8 weeks apart (photos Start,Week 4 and 8) Didnt change how I trained or added ‘extra cardio’ or ‘weights’’.Just changed my relationship with food. But, their is so much more difference between the photos than what the eyes can see.... The physical transformation is what you see,but the mental transformation is what changes your life when you sort your food out. Self confidence,energy,moods and relationships all improved because I finally started looking after my body through quality movement and quality foods. So this Friday,or weekend perhaps could be the time to grow, remember, YOU can do this, YOU can do this. It takes Time and consistency but we’re all so beyond capable. It can also improve your mood and reduce your risk of disease,I’m guessing we all knew that too? Yet despite these benefits, maintaining a healthy diet and lifestyle can be challenging,especially in a time like now. With such high stress levels and such low motivation levels,the only exercise you feel like doing is the 300 trips to the fridge every day,only to walk away disappointed, ...empty handed and hungry because we’re bored. We have been asked numerous times about a ‘corona virus diet plan’ or what we could do or reccomend for you. Here’s our answer,We here at PTS have no qualifications in nutrition to stand on,so what we tell you would be out of pure trial and error of our own eating and our own habits,which differentiates between every single person. What works for us probably won’t work for you,and vise versa. But, If we were to give the shortest weight loss/maintenance advise. It would be this: do the right thing and stay consistent. Knowing the right thing to do is easy.We’ve all seen the millions of articles on ‘how to lose weight’ blah blah blah. But most people can’t stay consistent long enough to see results or it’s ‘boring’. 07.01.2022 At Times Like These, We All Need To Just Keep Moving Wether it be inside or outside, equipment or no equipment we all need to keep moving. Now probably isn’t the time your going to hit some PBs or hit them courageous health and fitness goals you may have set for yourself,it’s our reality that we all have to accept for the time being..... What can we do instead? Even if it’s just 15minutes per day. - Focus on absolute QUALITY of movement. - Slow and controlled movements. Eg Push Up - 3seconds down 1 second Pause 3 seconds up. -Work on that dreaded Running,Biking,Rowing or Swimming. Alone of course -Take control of your nutrition once and for all. Don’t want to gain weight while your workouts might not be ‘hitting the mark’. If so,now more than ever is where you should watching what and how much goes in vs how much is put out (exercise) -Jump online and follow your gyms zoom sessions, you’ll be surprised at how hard these and beneficial for you are. @peakfitnesshuskisson have multiple a day for you to jump in on. 06.01.2022 Truth Bomb : Abs are not an indicator or optimal health and fitness,just sayin - As much we may appreciate the way it looks, the truth is that six-pack abs are actually pretty useless as a measure of fitness. A six-pack indicates absolutely nothing about your speed, your strength, your stamina, your flexibility, or even your level of overall health. - Here at PTS,we aim for good overall health. Rather than wasting time on six pack abs which is nothing more than a show m...uscle us men,and some women, like to show off on a few hot laps up and down the local beach. (When we’re allowed) #isolife - We here,put in the time and effort into practicing a balanced workout regime that engages all muscle groups with different movement patterns,tempos,volume and intensity day in and day out,keeping that body mobile to tackle anything every day life decided to throw at us. - Sure,we could cut your food in half and flog you in training sessions to reveal some abs, and even then,that still may not work. If you are happy to pay the price of feeling tired,hungry,lethargic and run down all the time? Go for it.
