Give Shez’s Kickstarter Smoothie a go! 1.5 cups almond milk unsweetened 1 shot cold-drip coffee (or espresso) 1 banana 1 tablespoon rolled oats (if gluten-free, use brown rice or quinoa flakes)... 1 teaspoon chia seeds 1 teaspoon honey 1 scoop protein powder Method In a blender, combine all ingredients and blend for about a minute. 23.01.2022 STRAWBERRY SALAD WITH POPPYSEED DRESSING Ingredients: 2 handful kale 1/2 cup strawberries (100g)... 1/2 medium avocado (70 g) 1 handful of peeled pistachio Dressing: 1 handful of raw cashews (20g) 1 tbsp lemon juice 1 tsp apple vinegar 1/4 tsp dijon mustard 1 tbsp plant milk 1 tbsp wate 1 tsp monk fruit syrup pinch of lemon zest 1 tsp poppy seeds Instructions: 1. Let’s start with dressing. Boil the cashews into a small pot for 10 minutes. Combine all ingredients for dressing (except the poppy seeds and lemon zest) into the blender and blend on high until creamy and smooth. Then stir in the poppy seeds and lemon zest. 2. Place the kale (don’t forget to massage it) in a pretty bowl, and top with sliced avocado and strawberries. Drizzle dressing over everything, then sprinkle with pistachio.

19.01.2022 This Vanilla Pistachio Brittle is studded with pistachios, fructose-free and high in protein from protein powder. Could this treat get ANY better? Ingredients 1/2 cup coconut oil, melted. 1/4 cup cashew butter. 2 teaspoons rice malt syrup.... 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/4 teaspoon sea salt. 1/4 cup Vanilla Protein Powder. 1 cup pistachios, roasted. Directions 1. In a heavy-bottomed saucepan, combine the coconut oil, cashew butter, rice malt syrup, vanilla powder and sea salt over medium-low heat. Stir until all melted together and the mixture starts to bubble slightly. Allow to bubble for 5 minutes, this will give the brittle a caramel flavour. Then, remove from the heat and stir in the protein powder and pistachio nuts. 2. Dump mixture onto a lined baking tray or dinner plate and spread out to the edges. Sprinkle with sea salt. Place in the fridge and allow to cool for 30 minutes. 3. Once set, remove from the fridge and break into small shards. Serve See more

13.01.2022 Chicken Burrito Bowl This quick and easy Chicken Burrito Bowl is full of fresh flavours and works really well as a weekend crowd pleaser! Even better still, the cook time is under 15 minutes, making it even easier and quicker to get healthy and tasty food on the table when you’re in a hurry! Ingredients... 1 teaspoon butter. 1 cob of corn, husk removed. 1 tablespoon coconut oil. 1 small (100g) onion, thinly sliced. 1 clove garlic, crushed. 2 teaspoons ground cumin. 2 teaspoons sweet paprika. 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper. sea salt. 200 g roast chicken, shredded. 1 Lebanese cucumber, finely diced. 1 red capsicum, finely diced. 1 small avocado, cubed. 1 cup coriander leaves, roughly chopped. juice of 1 lime. 2 cups iceberg lettuce, shredded. 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese. lime wedges, to serve. Directions 1. Brush corn with butter and cook in a chargrill pan or under grill until charred. Cool slightly. Remove kernels safely and set aside. Throw away cob. 2. Heat oil in a medium sized frying pan and add onion. Cook for 5 minutes until softened. Add garlic, spices and salt and cook for 2 minutes or until fragrant. Stir through chicken. Cook for 5 minutes or until heated through. 3. While your chicken and onion are simmering, combine cucumber, capsicum and corn in one bowl. In another bowl create a speedy guacamole mixture by using avocado, coriander and lime juice together. 4. Divide lettuce between two bowls or a container for tomorrow's lunch if you don’t want to share. Divide chicken, salad mix and avocado evenly between the two. Sprinkle with cheese and serve with lime wedges. Note Note If you’re dairy intolerant feel, free to swap the cheese out for your favourite dairy free cheese alternative. Vegetarian? This recipe tastes delicious with your favourite source of protein (we love tempeh coated in this delicious combination of spices, so you still get that flavour with every mouthful) without having to lose out on protein.
