22.01.2022 One of the aspects we really enjoy about our work is how it often helps support organisations that are making positive impacts in the community. For example, Queensland Museum and Shell's QGC business have a partnership called Future Makers, which provides STEM education content for teachers and engages with classrooms and students across regional Queensland. Last week we were able to help the Future Makers program, through filming a series of videos that will be used as on...line workshops and resources. Amongst other outcomes, they wanted to showcase the new automated pallet storage & retrieval system (ASRS) at their distribution centre in Brisbane. Thinking outside the box (or outside the pallet!) we helped develop the concept of following a bottle throughout the facility, from initial bottling right through to customer purchase at a retail outlet. The end result created a video that was engaging while showcasing the customer’s capabilities. First off the ranks was Cross River Rail yesterday morning. They're celebrating the week with an in-depth look at the Science of Tunnelling! 15.01.2022 Liebherr Mining have an outstanding facility in Adelaide for the remanufacturing of their mining machinery components. Their program enables customers to significantly reduce the total lifecycle cost of Liebherr mining equipment without compromising quality, performance or reliability. Earlier this year Pure Gold Films completed production of a video at their facility, showcasing the complete teardown and re-assembly of a travel drive from a Liebherr R996 excavator.... The outcome: Using a combination of timelapse cameras, video and indoor drone footage enabled us to condense this huge four day process down into an engaging three minute video. By understanding Liebherr’s focus on quality, reliability, and innovative technologies, we produced a video that visually encapsulated the core aspects of their brand, while communicating the benefits of their Remanufacturing Program. 13.01.2022 SOUND ON At Pure Gold Films we recently had the opportunity to work with Wolff Mining, part of National Group, to produce this video about their semi-autonomous dozers. We were proud to work close closely with the team and help highlight the safety and productivity gains from their ground-breaking technology, in this world’s-first application into a mining production environment.... Mounting a camera inside the driverless cab gave a unique view never seen before, and using high quality drone footage allowed us to capture the 4 dozers in sync from an aerial perspective. 12.01.2022 Hastings Deering have an iconic workshop facility in Brisbane for the service and rebuild of Cat machines. So when they asked us to help create a video showing the complete teardown and re-build of a CAT 657G scraper, we were excited to help out! The CAT 657G scraper is a giant in the league of earthmoving equipment for mining, and it’s been fascinating getting up-close during the filming this week. ... These Cat machines are built to be rebuilt through the Caterpillar Certified Rebuild program, extending the life of machines to as-new condition. 01.01.2022 Last week our Pure Gold Films team visited a construction site on the Sunshine Coast to capture video content of the @hastingsdeering rental fleet in action. By also interviewing the customer for a case study video, we were able to hear firsthand the reasons they choose Hastings Deering for their rental supplier.
