Soaking the oats overnight helps the starches break down and reduces the natural phytic acid, which may help your body utilize the oats nutrients much more efficiently Ingredients... 1 cup Puregrove Co. Jumbo Rolled Oats cup oat milk (or a milk of choice) 1 T sesame seeds 1 T chia seeds 2 T Puregrove Co. River Redgum 1 T brown/coconut sugar + t for dusting 1 t vanilla essence t ground cinnamon medium apple, cored, cut into eighths then cut horizontally twice (so it’s in chunks) cup water T shredded coconut (for garnish optional) 3 pecans or walnuts, roughly chopped (for garnish optional) 1 cinnamon stick (for garnish optional) Method 1. Pour rolled oats, milk, seeds and 1 T of honey in a mason jar and stir until combined. 2. Mix 1 T honey, 1 T sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon together then pour in over the oats. 3. Cover and place in the fridge overnight. 4. Place the apple and water in a pot, covered, over medium heat. 5. Bring to boil and cook for 5 minutes. 6. Remove the jar from the fridge and top with apple, coconut, nuts, extra sugar and cinnamon stick ! See more

04.01.2022 Ahhh the fresh smell of baked cookies straight out of the oven Who else has been baking now more than ever!? Thankyou Annewarrenart for whipping these goodies up! ... Classic Anzac Biscuits Recipe adapted from taste.com.au Ingredients 1 cup Puregrove Co Jumbo Rolled Oats 1 1/4 cups plain flour, sifted 1/2 cup brown sugar 3/4 cup desiccated coconut 150g unsalted butter, chopped * 2 tablespoons golden syrup or treacle 1 1/2 tablespoons water 1/2 teaspoon bicarb soda *may need a further 70g butter if mixture is dry Method 1. Preheat oven to 170C. Place the flour, oats, sugar and coconut in a large bowl and stir to combine. 2. In a small saucepan place the golden syrup and butter and stir over low heat until the butter has fully melted. Mix the bicarb soda with 1 1/2 tablespoons water and add to the golden syrup mixture. It will bubble whilst you are stirring together so remove from the heat. 3.Pour into the dry ingredients and mix together until fully combined. Roll tablespoonfuls of mixture into balls and place on baking trays lined with non stick baking paper, pressing down on the tops to flatten slightly. 4.Bake for 12 minutes or until golden brown.
