25.01.2022 Biodynamic farming uses enhanced regenerative agricultural practices, focusing on building microbe diversity in the soil. It produces nutrient dense food that's full of flavour and is free from chemical pesticides and artificial fertilisers. This kind of farming produces food that is good for you while continually improving soil health for our future generations. Currently on Netflix there's an eye-opening documentary on the importance of soil health and regenerative farming Kiss The Ground Burrum Biodynamics beautiful Demeter certified biodynamic barley crop. We use this in our sprouted Ezekiel 4:9 loaf.

22.01.2022 An action shot of Day 4 (Bake Day) of our unique flourless bread making process. Days 1, 2 & 3 involve the activation and sprouting of our certified biodynamic and organic grains and seeds. We then grind them into a mash with any additional ingredients mixed through (dates & walnuts pictured here). The mix is then portioned, hand-shaped into loaves, and finally baked.

They practice Biodynamic farming which uses advanced organic farming methods where focus is on long term soil health. This farm is home to the Australian Demeter Bio-Dynamic Rainfed Brown Rice we use in our bakery just down the road in Yamba. We consider ourselves lucky to have access to such high quality produce grown sustainably using regenerative farming methods that are mindful of our future generations.

15.01.2022 We often surprise people when they learn how our breads are made. It's sure far from the refined flour, water and yeast recipe. Our unique process involves minimal processing. It's lead by the activation and three days of sprouting grains and seeds. When ready, they're ground, portioned and hand-shaped into a loaves (as seen here), and then finally baked.

13.01.2022 Looking for an easy but healthy way to jazz up you salad? Sprouted croutons will make your salad satisfying and take just a few minutes. Slice and cube a couple of slices of Pure Life sprouted bread of your choose (we used Essene Supreme). Add a generous amount of extra virgin olive oil to a large frying pan. Add bread pieces and your favourite seasonings and fry at a high heat until sides are crispy.

Conventional breads made using refined flours contain little nutritional value and for many of us cause bloating and erratic spikes in blood sugar levels. Sprouting has the ability to transform grains into nutritional powerhouses. 04.01.2022 Unlocking the digestible potential of grains and seeds is a magical thing. Through sprouting we are able to deactivate nutrient blockers (such as phytic acid) increasing digestibility for our bodies. We germinate and sprout our organic and biodynamic seeds inside a controlled environment over a number of days. This is three days after activating our Ezekiel 4:9 cereal grains (wheat, spelt, barley, millet) and legumes (lentils, mung beans).
