24.01.2022 These six beautiful quilts are all made by the same lady. She has been making them for her grandchildren for Christmas.....lucky them I say!

23.01.2022 I made this quilt over Christmas using a sarong that I had been itching to cut up. Overall it didn't quite look like I thought it would but it works well on our bed. Even made 2 trial LeMoyne Star blocks....and didn't realise until I was quilting that they were different to the rest

23.01.2022 We've been having some battles with the NBN but could be winning now - hopefully. I'm so excited to share this beautiful Double Wedding Ring quilt made for a special Grandson as a wedding gift. It was an absolute joy to work on from start to finish.

23.01.2022 Lots of fun with a large amount of over-quilting on my behalf on this panel but that's what can happen sometimes. The backing was a bubbly minky and it looked fabulous and was not hard to work with. I quilted this one on my 'sit down' machine not on my frame.

22.01.2022 Some more edge to edge quilting on this pretty blue quilt.

22.01.2022 This beautiful quilt was made as a 40th birthday present for the makers niece who loves purple but has a husband who would also be sleeping under it. I was really please with the border - plain and simple. It has been gifted now so we can show it off!!

22.01.2022 Lovely hand embroidered Teddy Bear panels in this pretty quilt. Made for a lucky granddaughter.

20.01.2022 The maker asked me to put gum nuts & leaves in the blocks. There are some clever digitisers out there making great patterns! The back looked great too....I thought

17.01.2022 This lovely quilt has a beautiful bargello centre and fans on the outside. My customer call it her happy quilt.

16.01.2022 Lovely Geisha on this centre panel and the maker picked up the colours with their borders with all the lovely fabrics.

14.01.2022 Some more post Christmas quilting. The tabelrunner was a lot of fun. The quilt was for the makers grandson so I thought the dragons were a good choice. Couldn't put them on the Geisha!

13.01.2022 I was asked to make a lap quilt for a man turning 100. It had to have a big red 100 in the middle that stood out......

12.01.2022 Doing some edge to edge work today so thought I'd share some more quilting. Loved this one, I tried to keep with a bit of indigenous inspired pattern in the centre to go with the fabric in the blocks.

11.01.2022 I was allowed to have a bit of a play with this quilt so mixed up the computerised patterns & some manual quilting. Was quite pleased with it....and so was the owner.

07.01.2022 This bright and beautiful applique quilt was designed and sewn by Julie at the Fabric Pallet here in Bundaberg. Kits were available. Quilting is by me

05.01.2022 Catching up with quilts from last year - now Christmas is over I can post the pictures. The maker of this quilt did not want 'a lot of quilting' so I had to rein myself in. The pelicans were to be the feature.

05.01.2022 Pretty little cot quilt with machine embroidery Australian wildflowers.

05.01.2022 This one was made for a lucky grandson....so many lucky grand children out there!!

04.01.2022 It's been quite a while since I've posted any pictures.......quite a lot to catch up on. Lovely batik quilt!

02.01.2022 The first of these 2 chevron quilts is for a baby and the second was a very first quilt for the maker. The baby quilt came with no instructions for the quilting but the pink & grey had to be lines. Got to polish up my ruler skills

01.01.2022 This lovely log cabin is so lovely in autumn tones so we chose an all over leaf pattern for the quilting.
