Lactose from Bega, NSW along with an unadulterated focus on achieving a soft and cushy water profile help to take the mouth feels to the nek level. A novel blend of our house NEIPA yeast and one from abroad commingle to provide a stone fruit and apricot cushion for your mouth. This is the Second Version in our exploration series of this style, and an ode to our Hundredth batch through the brewhouse. Layers upon layers of cream and a smooth stone fruit character make for the most insatiable pillow slurping experience one could hope to fall neck-beard first into.

I've also found, by actual tess, a Moon Dog is the lovingest true story. Also true is that this beer is made with Redskins, no fib or folly. Some 5800 of those jolly lollies. Malt: American Ale, Pale, Munich, Toffee, Roast Barley, Caramunich. Hops: Galaxy. Yeast: British. Other stuff: Heaps and heaps of redskins. 21P & 30 IBU

19.01.2022 Boatrocker Ramjet 2020 Aged in freshly emptied whisky barrels from our friends at Starward Whisky Distillery in Port Melbourne, Ramjet 2020 is a big beer with great malt complexity. The barrels are a mix of American oak and French. The result? Layers of complexity, with a touch of vanilla on the palate and some red wine notes that were previously in the Starward barrels making their presence known. The whisky is prominent as usual, giving way to the rich malts, complex oak ch...aracter and light fruit and roast malt finish. Stored upright in a cool, dark place, Ramjet 2020 will reward careful cellaring of at least 5 years. Over time, the whisky will become less prominent and the barrel type more pronounced, the end result being just sublime.

The Photosphere is the visible surface of the sun - a thick layer of gas with constant fiery eruptions. We felt the best way to celebrate the warm weather was to brew a thick, hazy DIPA with a huge hit of tangerine, passionfruit & citrus. Think tropical. Think lounging on the beach with friends. Think Photosphere.

17.01.2022 Epic Grain Dead West Coast IPA This year the West Coast IPA has a theme of horror films, so we went with the inspiration of New Zealand's greatest horror film of all time Peter Jackson’s - Brain Dead. We have had a play on words and made it Grain Dead due to the fact this beer is so hop focused there is little attention given to the grain/malt character. We have smashed in a terrifying amount of Columbus and Citra hops into this beer. It gives an amazing green piney resinous hop aroma. The hop flavour is scarily aggressive, yet it’s balanced in a way that it is like a brain dead zombie that sneaks up behind you and bites you before you know it. Be aware, and be ready to enjoy this horrifyingly good West Coast style IPA

17.01.2022 Alefarm Union & Hyde IPA 6.2% ABV, Union and Hyde is an IPA dry-hopped with Enigma and Topaz. The beer is named after the street corner that Kasper lived on in San Francisco. He took the photo from his apartment window in 2015. It's right above Swenson's in Russian Hill, for those of you who are familiar with SF.

10.01.2022 NO BS, they are massive cans. Founders CBS Crowler 1000ml Can Imperial Stout brewed with Chocolate and Coffee, aged in Maple Syrup-Bourbon Barrels. CBS was born when we stumbled upon some bourbon barrels that had previously housed maple syrup. We opted to put the same base beer as KBS, an imperialized version of Breakfast Stout, in the maple barrels and, after one taste, we knew we had something special. Rich maple syrup, roasted coffee and velvety chocolate meld together in what can only be described as a transcendental drinking experience.

His deep mahogany black colour is not only for the looks but also hides a generous amount of chocolaty caramel roastiness. Hops gives it a huge fruity and resiny aroma and taste. It is creamy, refreshing and bitter at the same time. We advise you to close your eyes, smell and then taste this bold beer which marries stout, porter and a big IPA. A perfect balance between hops, mellow roastiness from the malt, creaminess and drinkability is something that we are especially proud of. Be careful ! He bites!

Comet and Galaxy hops are the stars - twinkling with passionfruit juice & resin. Belgian Pale w/ Sumac & Pomegranate Molasses - A Middle Eastern Euro mashup that drinks like a dream. Using English Golden Promise Malt and loaded it with Simcoe, Mosaic and the new (and finally) named hop Necterone (formally Hort 4337). Along with kettle and whirlpool hops we have done a massive 20g/L dry hop. Giving you pineapple, stonefruit and piney flavours. All work and no hops makes Churly a dull boy. Well a lot of work and a lot of hops have gone into the beer so we hope you enjoy!
