22.01.2022 I hate encourgaing people to listen to my sermons online it's all of my insecurities in one place but, for a few months, I've had it in my spirit to share this one. I had many of you in mind as I preached and prepared this sermon sometime last year (just a few weeks before I had a baby!) about a storm Paul faced in Acts 27. "Maybe you have bad days or you’re having a bad decade. In the past year alone I have had people close to me face storms of miscarriage, drug addicti...on, marriage breakdown, loneliness, cancer, a range of mental illnesses, broken relationships, infertility, death of a loved one, financial struggle, chronic illness. Maybe this is you, maybe you’re wondering where God is and if he’s even there at all...." Have a listen if you'd like, I think God might want to speak to one or some of you. Mez (Rod preaches great sermons all the time they're also all online!) ** Scroll down to "Acts: To The Ends Of The Earth // Series," and listen to "4. Mez Thearle Faith: Trusting Through The Storm." **

18.01.2022 Good bloggers write consistently and often.... sometimes we write and don't even remember to publish it. Check out Mez's post about faith

16.01.2022 People still queue up for new iPhones... surely that's so 10 ears ago. This Easter, why not crowd around Jesus and hear what he has to say. Also, we've updated our sermon archive if you want to have a listen putoutintodeepwater.bandcamp.com

15.01.2022 We've given the sermons page a little freshen-up, so if you miss listening to our voices, get amongst it. My personal favourites would be Mez's sermon on "faith in the storm" from the Acts series. I also really enjoyed writing "Follow" in the same series, a first-person narrative from the perspective of Paul. - Rod

09.01.2022 I said a few dumb things as a teenager, "aim low, you’ll never be disappointed," was one of the worst. Read more on the blog. - Rod https://putoutintodeepwater.blogspot.com//11/aiming-high.h

01.01.2022 Coffee, culture and coffee culture. There are lots of reasons to love Melbourne. We're still learning though...
