24.01.2022 PWCC - SEEKING PLAYERS & SPONSORS FOR 2020/21... With the 2020/21 Cricket Season fast approaching we are on the look out for new players and sponsors. We currently have a 1st Grade and 4th Grade side confirmed in the 2020/21 SMCA competition along with likely a lower grade two day side and several one day only sides.... We are actively seeking any players that may be potentially keen on joining Piara Waters CC with view to playing 1st Grade in 2020/21. Playing incentives are available to all 1st Grade players and other incentives may be available upon further discussion. We are also seeking expressions of interest for anyone that would be interested in Womens Cricket and Junior Cricket U10s - U17s in the local area. We would love to get both of these up and running in Piara Waters and require too seek interest levels to assist with lobbying both the WACA and Local Council. 13.01.2022 Well done to our 2nd grade side who secured top spot on the ladder and promotion to 1st grade for the 2019/20 SMCA season yesterday. Now all the fun begins of having to take it all a little more seriously in the coming few months. Spread the word around and if you know of anyone keen to take on a serious coaching role or keen on playing a reasonable level of two day cricket we'd certainly be keen to discuss further.

04.01.2022 Folks, All 7 Pre-Season Indoor Sessions have now been completed. Outdoor Training begins next week on a Wednesday as a one off to hopefully better suit with the Monday being a Public Holiday and AFL Finals match being on the Thursday evening. We will return to Tuesdays and Thursdays from then on. SMCA once again are not at all preorganised so grading and fixturing is not even remotely close. At this stage we're advised the two day competitions will start on Saturday Oct 17th ...and the one day only competitions will start on Saturday Oct 31st. Saturday Oct 24th will be a competition Bye to suit the AFL Grand Final. Training will be from approximately 4:45pm until Dark for the first few weeks.
