25.01.2022 Ok folks, this was a ripper competition last year and we are keen to make it even bigger this year... so get your entries in NOW and enjoy one of the last weekend dressage comps at Elmore before the weather turns ice-cold! 18.01.2022 Pyalong Riding Club would like to thank Bendigo Bank Wallan & Kilmore Community Bank branches and Broadford Customer Service Centre for their amazing contribution to our little club so we could concrete the floor of our club shed and install a proper horse wash area! We are so grateful for this support and really appreciate the ethos of this bank and the commitment it shows to our local community. Concreting a shed isn't saving anyones life or fixing a global crisis but it he...lps our members stay actively engaged in sport & recreation which benefits the health and well-being of our community - if more people rode horses the world would definitely be a better place! This contribution means a lot to us and will be valued for many, many years to come. Next time you are in a Bendigo Bank branch, or communicating with them for any reason, please thank them for the support they give our local groups and clubs - we know there are many good things they do that often go un-noticed and saying thanks helps all of these groups say thanks too. 13.01.2022 BREAKING NEWS: We are excited to announce we will have an OTT Best Performed Thoroughbred award at our dressage comp on Sat 4 April at Elmore! AND there's an o...verall weekend champion award if you also compete at Kilmore's dressage comp at the same venue the next day!! TB owners will need to register for the award on www.horsecomps.org.au and provide the horse’s brands and racing name. If unraced, they need to have been registered with a recognised TB stud book. 13.01.2022 At tonight’s AGM founding member Kate Brown passed the role of President to Natanya Thrift. Kate has been on the club committee since starting the club (with her own money) in 2001 and the club has never been in better shape than it is right now! Natanya’s first order of business was to nominate Kate for the honour of being the first ever Life Member of Pyalong Riding Club and the nomination was endorsed unanimously by the meeting. Kate was presented with a bunch of flowers f...rom the club and a card that read Like every great thoroughbred, you need to give them a spell.... Congratulations Kate and thank you from all of us! Thank you also to the outgoing committee members Anita Gisch and Kathryn Milian for your work this year, and welcome to the new and returning office bearers. Elected positions are: President: Natanya Thrift Vice President: Gayanne Haber Secretary: Carol Kernaghan Treasurer: Jodi Goss Rally Coordinator: Anne Liersch Rec Reserve Reps: Carol Kernaghan + Kate Brown A club is only as good as the members make it and we are grateful to all the members over the years who have volunteered their time to make the club what it is today.

07.01.2022 Please add your club grounds to this registry if they are approved for use as an evacuation centre for horses. Private properties are also welcome and there is a transport list for anyone with a float/horse truck that is willing to help (check conditions are safe to do so before agreeing to transport).

05.01.2022 COVID 19 - HRCAV policy Due to the escalation of concerns about the Corona virus and the need to provide our Clubs with clear guidance about events and activit...ies, it has been decided to suspend all HRCAV competitions until 18th May 2020. The HRCAV will continue to monitor the situation and will extend the period of suspension if necessary. Like this page or monitor our website https://hrcav.com.au/ to stay informed. Event organisers are advised that entry refunds must be provided upon request, with the usual vet or medical certificate requirement waived until competitions resume. Should you wish to reschedule your event, please contact the office for advice. The event calendar on our website will be updated regularly. Clinics and rallies can still be conducted at the discretion of the Club committee as long as precautionary measures to help protect those in attendance are implemented. Such measures would include: members feeling unwell to stay at home, avoid close social contact at the rally, byo food and drinks, hand soap/sanitiser in toilets and kitchens. Club Secretaries will be notified of the HRCAV policy via email.
