20.01.2022 Greetings, dear followers of Pymble Players Inc! It's been a while, but here's another production photo quiz for you. Name the play, director, cast and/or crew members. The year is 2014.

18.01.2022 As you are probably aware, especially if youve been to see it, NATURAL CAUSES - our current play- has been delighting audiences. Its a fun and very entertaining comedy thriller and has been incredibly popular. However, if youve missed it but dont want to miss out, or would like to revisit the fun, there are still a few final seats left for tomorrows, Wednesday 7th, extra performance. You can book now online at www.pymbleplayers.com.au or by calling Mel at Tastix on 02 9144 1523 between 11am and 7pm today or tomorrow.

18.01.2022 Oops. Don’t breath out! You know you’re in trouble when the help starts singing to the candles. Bernadette Miflin wearing more than one hat in Blithe Spirit which opens June 2nd! Tickets at https://pymbleplayers.com.au/tickets

15.01.2022 A year ago, in wishing a Happy New Year to all our members and friends on this page, we put in a plug for the upcoming season of Embers, our first play of 2019. As many will know, it told the story of true events from a decade before, of terrible fires in country Victoria. Little did we know how the year would end and the next begin - in what can only be called catastrophic conditions across large parts of the country. The poignant and moving stories told by the characters of... that play, taken - often verbatim - from media transcripts of the time, have come to this page admins mind a lot in recent weeks. Our thoughts, prayers and best wishes go to all those affected by fires, and the many, many heroes fighting fires and helping in so many ways. We wish a safer and Happy New Year for all, and look forward to seeing you at the theatre - whether on stage, back stage, front-of-house or in the audience - in 2020. See more

15.01.2022 Pymble Players are honoured to be fundraising for this very worthy cause.

15.01.2022 At the heart of THE SHOEHORN SONATA are Bridie & Sheila, who tell their stories of the Japanese prisoner of war camps in Malaya during WWII. Book online at: www.pymbleplayers.com.au Phone: (02) 9144 1523 (between 11am and 7pm Monday to Friday) or Email: [email protected] (please type PYMBLE PLAYERS in the subject line) Bridie (Sandra Bass) & Sheila (Linda Young) with their younger selves (Angelica Madani and Alexandra Burton). 15.01.2022 Season 2020 - Theatre Closure (for now). With great disappointment we must close our theatre for the foreseeable future. As we cannot predict the end to the current health crisis, we consider it in the best interests of our patrons and volunteers (i.e. our actors, creatives, crews and front-of-house members) to cancel the remainder of the 2020 season. These plays were to be BLITHE SPIRIT, YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU and PACK OF LIES. It is likely that some of the plays scheduled for the remaining season 2020 will make up part of our 2021 season. Rehearsals were well underway for BLITHE SPIRIT. All our subscribers and pre-paid ticket holders should soon receive an email or letter with further information regarding their tickets.

09.01.2022 Dear Pymble Players (Pymble-ers, Pym-ballers, Pymble Wizards, etc.) I hope you are all surviving amid the Corona gloom. I know I’ve found myself often at a loss... without theatre this year. With this in mind, a talented friend of mine is offering a FREE drama workshop this Friday to any drama student in Years 7-10 at school. Please refer on to any young people you might know who might be interested! https://jumpstartyouththeatre.com (Or check out the page on Facebook) Emma Wright is a Bond University graduate with a Bachelor of Film and Television (2015), and a Diploma from The Actors Studio London (2018). She is also Co-Founder of Eye Contact Theatre Company for which she writes, produces and performs. As a performer, she has been noted by critics as commanding (The Buzz), technically accomplished and emotionally rich (Suzy Goes See), and with an energy and mastery that holds the audience completely in her thrall (AltMedia). For her performance as Eliza Doolittle in Pygmalion, Sydney Morning Herald wrote her physical acting is so good that we see the barest shiver of tension electrify her body if you love the play, go and see Emma Wright’s Eliza. In 2017 her award-winning short film Anchor (writer/director) featured in ABC’s Grad Season on iView, having screened at fourteen film festivals internationally. She has taught drama to young people at ATYP for three years.
