24.01.2022 On Thursday 22 October 2020, RIDBC celebrated our 160th year of operation. It is a rich history that continues to this day supporting people with hearing or vision loss. It is because of the amazing involvement of committees, clubs and organisations as well as the individuals who have contributed to this success, that we have been able to help so many children & families thank you ! I have been fortunate enough in my role to have met with many families who have spoken to me directly about the impact RIDBC has had on their lives. Your role in our success has been fundamental. 20.01.2022 Happy 100th birthday Qantas. We were so excited to be part of the celebrations at the Sydney Domestic Terminal yesterday with members of our Qantas Pathfinders Revue cast modelling current and past Qantas uniforms. Qantas generously donated the proceeds from the auction - a fabulous $10,500 to Qantas Pathfinders and our charity Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children. Qantas holds a special place in the hearts of all Qantas Pathfinders for providing each of us with a career, so many friendships around the world, an amazing lifestyle and the opportunity to work for an iconic Australian brand. Thank you for all the wonderful memories and we can't wait to be back in the skies.

09.01.2022 Those of you who have been with the Revue for a number of years (especially Easts Leagues Club days) would remember Don Kinna standing charge at the door of Front of House and for selling Pathfinders Lottery Tickets at the door of QCC ... Don passed away on Thursday 22 October. He was 96 years & 8 months (Born 13/02/1924). Don's funeral details, from his nephew Allan Kinna - Date: 12 November 2020 Time: 10 am... Venue: Guardian Funeral 374 Princess Highway ROCKDALE NSW 2216 (02 9567 6066) As this is a celebration of Don’s Life, his cheeky sense of humour & personality, time will be allocated for anyone who would like to share their funny moments. 01.01.2022 Cast members from the Qantas Pathfinders Revue were invited to be a part of a very special event - the Great Southern Land scenic flight. As you can see they had a great time singing, dancing and entertaining the customers on the flight to nowhere! Qantas very generously donated the proceeds from an auction of 747 memorabilia items, a 3 day Uluru experience and a 787 simulator experience - raising an amazing $16,500 for Qantas Pathfinders and the Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children. Customers enjoyed a great day with low level flybys of some of Australia’s most iconic landmarks including the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, the Great Barrier Reef, Uluru and Sydney Harbour.
