06.01.2022 Our Healthy Relationships and Positive Behaviour Change workshop is designed to assist individuals or couples in understanding what constitutes Family Violence in the eyes of the law and how to restore their relationship to one of basic respect and equality through positive behaviour change and effective communication. Each workshop is tailor made to the families unique set of circumstances and focuses specially on the presenting issues for each family catering for: 1. Cou...ples wanting to make positive changes to their relationship and remain together; 2. Those at a pre-separation stage, as the knowledge gained may assist them in either repairing or ending their relationship in a respectful and dignified manner; 3. Those who have chosen to end their relationship and co-parent. They may or may not have a parenting plan or Court orders. Our workshop may assist in developing mutual agreements about their ongoing relationship as co-parents and benchmarking acceptable behaviour as they move forward and co-parent as a separated couple. For example, mutual agreements about acceptable behaviour at child handover, acceptable methods of communication etc. A certificate of completion is provided at the end of the workshop which may be useful in IVO matters. We are happy to work with Victoria Police, by providing the workshop during an adjournment period whilst Victoria Police conduct their assessment to determine how the matter should proceed.
