10.01.2022 Great News! The project: "The role of First Nations' music as a determinant of health" has been awarded an ARC Discovery Indigenous Grant. Congrats to the terrific team: Prof. Naomi Sunderland, Prof. Brydie Bartleet, Prof. Philip Graham, Dr Darren Garvey, and A/Prof. Clint Bracknell! It is noteworthy that Naomi has been awarded a DAATSIA on this one. Naomi and Brydie are both key part of the QCRC, and we are very proud of them!

08.01.2022 So proud of our very own A/Arof Donna Weston who was elected to the board of ISME (International Society of Music Education) and the ISME membership committee recently. Donna is also the board liaison for the Popular Music and Music Technology special interest groups, and is on the board of The Association for Popular Music Education. A strong presence from QCGU and Australia continues in the field of music education, with the 2022 ISME world conference being held in Brisbane. Congrats Donna.

02.01.2022 Prof. Brydie Bartleet was one of the panelists in Nalandaway's recent webinar (22nd September): Arts Integrative Learning and the National Education Policy. Based in Chennai, India, Nalandaway Foundation is leading some of the educational transformations for children in the region through harnessing the arts. Brydie's talk was well-received and delivered alongside other eminent educationists and policy makers from India.
