25.01.2022 This building is too important to let go, if you are able send your support to Saint Brigid's and express your opinion on the importance of these types of structures and their relevance to the people of Queensland. Now is the time to unite for a worthy cause from a State level.

25.01.2022 If your in Ipswich look to the sky today you might catch a show!

25.01.2022 Well done Graham Higgins for investing in Vacy Halls future.

24.01.2022 New timber fence in production at North Ipswich. The social distancing temp fence is in place to separate workers from pedestrians.

22.01.2022 We don’t often get anything from 1790, well here is something very exciting: an archeological dig at Robin Thomas Reserve, Parramatta, along the proposed new li...ght rail route, unearthing plenty, adjacent the western wall of the original military barracks. I took these photos today because next week all of this will be unbelievably dug up and lost forever! See more

22.01.2022 This article hits the nail on the head.

20.01.2022 In 2013 QHR was invited to provide a cost estimate for the conservation tender for The Woody Island Lighthouse project for The Queensland Government, a very unique access issue was one element to be considered.

07.01.2022 Queensland Heritage Restorations has been approved again for another Defence Heritage project at RAAF Base Amberley. We should be 'Gear Up' by the end of July.

07.01.2022 Affectionately known by the owners as "The Gatehouse" , this fantastic outbuilding is just another of those hidden gems in the City Of Ipswich, or as Jason McNamarra is now dubbing "The Village". Hopefully we will have some more content soon as we complete some private projects.

06.01.2022 Ipswich has opportunity for people who haven't considered this regional town as their new home base. With highway upgrades and the Brisbane tunnel systems you can be in Brisbane in as little as 30 minutes. Larger blocks and still many untouched colonial homes and Queenslanders it is worth considering as a change of pace. We were from Brisbane and this town has presented opportunities to change the way you live. Just compare the average costs, Brisbane will provide you with a home in the same style for around say 600k requiring renovation. Ipswich can deliver the same if not better for around 300k on an average 800m2 block, leaves some thought for a very generous renovation budget. Look up these houses and set a tour on your sat nav, see what our pioneers saw and consider the potential of this town.

04.01.2022 Over the next 5 months QHR will be undertaking restoration and conservation works on this Heritage Listed School in Brisbane as the Principal Contractor. Over 420 windows will be removed and restored at our Ipswich workshops before being returned including leadworks to flashings and render work.

04.01.2022 Nice to be recognised with a letter. QHR is looking for 2 carpenters looking for an adventure. Central Qld project starting August 31. Commencing with a 10 day run on the project followed again after a short break. Accommodation, meals, hourly rate.... Guidance will be provided for what is a little of the the regular days work. Please contact Shane 0429 495 994

01.01.2022 Always worth paying attention when working around older houses. While removing an old concrete retaining wall we discovered some nice pressed pressed bricks and some more bed frames used as reinforcing. 1913 Ipswich Colonial home.
