23.01.2022 Competitor Info for Saturday 17 October: All gates open from 1pm. Pit Entry procedures the same as last time. Pit parking map below. It will be a very full pi...ts, so please follow directions and park between allocated bins. Track Pack/Engine starts are from 4.15pm, first race from 4.25pm (Stockcars). Sprintcar Engine starts 5pm. If you are feeling unwell, or have been in a COVID hotspot in the last 14 days, do not attend. Practice Social distancing whenever possible and remember there is now an additional pit viewing area in turns 1 & 2. Please write your name, address and phone number to show to staff at pay station to help make it a speedy process for you. Also have Speedway Australia licence ready before you arrive at pay station, if you have one. As we have nearly 140 competitors, we advise you arrive earlier rather than later - hence gates are open from 1pm, so we don't get a mad rush of everyone coming after 3pm... 18.01.2022 Mask update for 16/1/21 After further consultation with Qld Health please see below bullet points in regards to wearing of masks at our venue: - Entering and pa...ying for entry, if you are from the Greater Brisbane area or have visited the area since Jan 2 please wear a mask whilst upon entry as you are dealing with gate staff and can not maintain 1.5m social distancing. You may then remove your mask. - If your sitting in the grandstand area and cannot maintain the 1.5m social distancing between groups it is recommended you wear a mask. - If you are in a food and drink line and cannot maintain the 1.5m social distancing between you and another person it is recommended you wear a mask. - Our gate staff will be wearing a mask the entire time they are on the gate. - Lockyer Valley Speedway recommends and encourages the wearing of masks by all patrons and strongly encourage social distancing and sanitising your hands regularly. 12.01.2022 After more than five seasons as the primary corporate backer of Queensland’s premier speedway circuit, Ausdeck Patios have stepped away from their naming rights... sponsorship with Archerfield Speedway, a partnership that delivered some of the biggest names and events to the Brisbane venue. Archerfield promoters John and Kathy Kelly extend their appreciation to Stewart Craig and the team at Ausdeck Patios for the extended support of their venue and speedway in general, declaring that we really appreciate all of the support that Ausdeck have given us over the last six seasons and, whilst we would have very much liked for our partnership to continue, Stewart has decided to scale back his motorsport commitments and this is understandable given the enormous contribution he has made for many years. In addition to their support of Archerfield Speedway, Ausdeck Patios also teamed with Andrew Scheuerle to win myriad feature races and track championships before reaching the pinnacle of Sprintcar competition in Australia with victory in the 2018/2019 Australian Championship. 05.01.2022 HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE :) We hope you had a great night. Competitor info for Friday, January 1: Pit parking map below. Again another full pits expected, so pl...ease park in between bins, and do not move them. Space has been allocated accordingly to fit everyone in. Pit gates open from 1pm. Only the driver remains in the tow vehicle to proceed through the pit driveway. Please ensure you have closed in footwear on before entering pit area/driveway. Also have speedway australia licence ready if you have one, to show staff before arriving at ticket box or driveway. Engine starts are from 4.40pm, with first race from 5pm. There is some rain around this morning, however it is forecast to clear by this-afternoon. We will post updates later this-morning on our main facebook page. Fingers crossed Mother Nature only dumps enough water to 'wet the track' and not drown it :) See more

04.01.2022 *** QLD LIMITED SEDAN TITLE POSTPONED *** As a result of the current COVID situation in NSW, RSA after discussions with the Lockyer Valley Speedway Club have ma...de the hard decision to POSTPONE the Qld Limited Sedan Title that was scheduled for the 16th January. Lockyer Valley Speedway Club have generously offered to still schedule the RSA Limited Sedans in the program for the 16th so any driver who has nominated for the title or any other Limited Sedan driver who wishes to have a run that night is quite welcome to race. RSA will be arranging full refunds to all those who have paid their nomination fees and these refunds will be processed via EFT to your bank accounts within the next few days. Racing Sedans Australia in conjunction with the Lockyer Valley Speedway Club will be doing all in our power to reschedule this event as soon as possible. More information to follow as it becomes available.

01.01.2022 As a result of the RSA AGM held last Sunday, the division 5A Outlaw Sedan specs will have a couple of changes. The new book is supposed to be made public hopefully on the weekend but we can announce that both of the submissions sent by our club were accepted. 1. Clarification on MD3 nose cones and... 2. Double adjustable oil-filled shocks are now allowed but cannot be adjusted on the night after being presented at scrutineering... Once the updated book is released by RSA we will let you know and as usual, it will be available on their website...
