24.01.2022 In a QYL first we are hosting an ONLINE wine tasting and yoga class. Combining the two things everyone is doing in iso - at home workout outs and drinking too much (we couldnt work out how to include baking bread). Grape Therapy have kindly offered a discount just for attendees of this event!!! Federico Dordoni, Grape Therapys director and sommelier will speak to the wines. Afterwards you will be able to impress your friends and colleagues with your wine knowledge. As... you drink your delicious wine, Mandy Shean director of Private Yoga Brisbane will run through a fun and easy yoga class to help you stretch out after a long week WFH. 12.01.2022 Committee Member Spotlight | Emily Brown | Before her admission as a solitior, Emily spent 5 years working full-time in law whilst studying her Bachelor of Laws. After crying $40k worth of tears, much to her Instagram followers surprise, she finally graduated in 2018 with the horrible realisation that Elle Woods made it look way easier in Legally Blonde. Now as a young lawyer, Emily needs some fellow miserable alcoholics to whinge to about how hard her life is and why she is ...not already a senior associate, which is why she joined the QYL Committee. After law school, death became appealing to Emily, so she has ended up working in estates, employment and insurance. Come say high to Emily at our upcoming social drinks in October!
