22.01.2022 New beers in this week! We’re loving session IPA’s for that max flavour but low abv vibe. @brendalebrewingco make an excellent one they call the ‘Light Industry’, full of stone fruit and pine needles with fresh bitterness and zest at just 3.4%. @sierranevada are some of the pioneers of craft beer and are well known for their west coast style pales and IPA’s. We wanted to showcase some of their lesser known brews so we’ve gotten the ‘Hazy Little Thing’ hazy session IPA and the...ir ‘Wild Little Thing’ slightly sour ale. The first is fairly self descriptive, a hazy west coast style IPA at session strength (for IPA’s) of 4.6%. The other is a sour ale that is full of flavour without being mouth puckeringly acidic. Gentle sourness and natural fruit additions of guava, strawberry and hibiscus make this a super unique and delicious sour that’s definitely in my top 3 for ‘New World’ sours. @exitbrewing make a big, bitter and bold DIPA full of citrus pith, pine and toffee characters. At 9% this bad boy is unashamed to pack a punch but finished fresh and balanced. Lastly @killersprocket bring us a sick little limited edition in their ‘Bandit’ peated ale. Rich peat smoke combines with fresh Vienna and Pilsener hops to make something Smokey that doesn’t sit heavy in your mouth. A killer little limited for those humid days when you want something fresh but not boring. Come on down for a chat and find your new favourite today! #brisbanebeerbarons #brisbanebeer #craftbeer #sourbeer #ipa #hazyipa #peatedbeer #sessionipa #morningside #craftbottleshop See more

18.01.2022 @curryville_brisbane has consistently been voted one of the best Indian restaurants in Brisbane. We love being the closest bottle store to one of the finest byo in the city. We also love having proper Indian beer with Indian food. By popular request we’ve gotten in the best of India, good old Kingfisher. Available in six packs or singles to wash down your delicious Indian meal.

12.01.2022 Ahhh @church.mouse.cheese. Thanks for making our shop pop with exciting wine and cheese combo ideas! Whether you’re the kind looking for a nice red to go with salami, someone who chases a natural chilled red with truffled chèvre, or the kind who reckons aged Australian Cheddar and Pet Nat is the ultimate weekend treat we’ve got a fantastic selection for you. #cheeseboard #cheeseandwine #saycheese #australiancheese #buylocal

11.01.2022 Thinking proper French champagne this year to spoil your loved one? Why not support a grower champagne over a big corporation? Grower champagnes are small family owned champagne houses that make beautiful French bubbles from all or mostly their own small family owned holdings. Rather than the big house model of buying from hundreds of small vineyards to achieve the ‘assemblage’ of flavour, these guys believe terroir is king. I find them to be drier, but more ripe and complex ...in general than the big houses, who often harvest grapes underripe to make them more predictable and then make up for that by adding lots of sugar (up to 12g per litre) at dosage to make up for the lack of natural flavour. Come on down and give one a try today! #valentines #valentinesideas #valentinesgift #valentinesgiftsforhim #valentinesgiftsforher #growerchampagne #champagne #brisbanewine #wine #winestagram See more

01.01.2022 Doing @febfastaus ? Or taking a bit of a break from booze for your #newyearsresolution2021 ? We were doing the same thing for much of last year and did some research into alcohol free beer. We reckon @heapsnormal make the best alcohol free beer in the market. We’re so convinced that for the rest of February, 4 packs of their XPA is just $11!! A cracker of a deal for a cracker of a beer. Cartons are just $55 too! alcohol free beers are also now my favourite way to pace myself when I’m driving without sacrificing flavour. Tropical, citrusy and with firm bitterness and thirst quenching finish, this is a proper beer that is too good to be wasted #alchoholfreebeer #alcoholfree #healthylifestyle #designateddriver #brisbanebeerbarons #brisbanebeer
