25.01.2022 2+ tonne of salt landed in Bespoke Aquariums this week Thank you so much for the support!

25.01.2022 Hi all, **important salt update** At the start of the year, over 700 million Australian animals died and over 1 billion were affected by the bushfires which swept across our land To help native wildlife, the Australian Government has introduced the Salt Interception Scheme. This scheme pushes high mineral water away from freshwater bodies of water, helping to keep the water drinkable. These waterways are used by over 800 species, 50+ that are endangered, making them essenti...al to their survival The high mineral water is pumped away and is naturally dried using chemical free processes. Only the sun, wind and ultra-pure water is used to produce the final salt. We have decided to incorporate as much of the high mineral salt into all 4 of our Macro Probiotic Salts as possible, without changing the parameters Without supporting companies purchasing this salt, this scheme would cease to exist. Each Quantum Salt purchased helps those animals due to the fact that all Quantum Salt products contains salt from the Salt Interception Scheme In each Quantum Salt we have also included a LAB-SPEC Batch Analysis which provides a detailed chemical analysis of the salt, using our Advanced ICP-OES and other analytical techniques 2020 has been a tough year on everyone so we would love to thank you for the incredible support and giving us the ability to make positive change We hope you have a wonderful weekend, as always if you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask

25.01.2022 Hi all, we have taken feedback of the people who have contacted us about the app We have decided that we will launch it in two stages - first stage (pictured, 6-8 weeks away) will be an updated version of the current app. This will contain all of our products as well as being able to use gallons The second stage (3-4 months away) will be the final app, complete with a merch store (yes finally) as well as many more features ... 25.01.2022 Dear members, There have been some great highs and some devastating lows throughout our long eleven years of manufacturing a great range of aquarium products, and we would just like to sincerely thank all of you that stuck by us throughout this journey. We owe our success to a combination of our core values coined the three Ds to success; Discipline, Dedication and Delivery, and in no doubt, the aquarium industry will not stand for and will speak up against anything they bel...ieve is unjust. Which leads us to apologise to our distributors, retailers and hobbyists that ordered one of our newer ranges of Coral Frag related products. Unfortunately, the events that took place were completely out of our control, and although we did everything we could to get these products in as fast as possible, including paying the entire consignment before the freight was even sent among other things, the delivery was still delayed for almost 10 months. We would like to apologise to everyone for this as it is not the way that Quantum operates. To add insult to injury, the fully paid order was not complete, which means products such as the entire Magnetic Frag Holder range, was not supplied. Again we would like to extend our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience that this error of judgement on our part has caused and as a result, we will no longer be stocking or supporting this manufacturer in future. 19.01.2022 Hi all, if you need free dosing lids, please ask your LFS as we will be more than happy to supply them :) If you do have some normal lids at home and want to turn them into a dosing lid, simply take out the wadding, then drill a hole slightly larger than the dosing pump line. This will allow the bottle to breathe and enable the flow of the liquid If you have any questions or need anything at all, feel free to ask :)

We have tried for over a decade to purchase & supply the sand as an aquarium substrate but to no avail due to fears of over mining. 02.01.2022 FAQ (3) 50 grades of Carbon - Saltwater Activated Carbon comes in multiple grades using different types of raw material. There are also many manufacturing processes used to activate the carbon using concentrated acids & highly pressured steam which cannot be done at home Often manufacturers use phosphoric acid as the concentrated acid due to its low cost, which leaves unwanted phosphate left in the pores of the activated carbon that leach out when introduced into water... Some brands use cheaper coconut shell as the base carbon, others use ground up pelletised activated carbon, both of which have lower macro:micro pores meaning less larger unwanted organics are removed In saltwater aquariums; we want as many macro pores as possible due to the larger unwanted organics present in our saltwater aquariums We always recommend rinsing your activated carbon in RODI water (NOT tap water) before introducing it into your aquarium which helps to remove any dust present from transit Bio-Activated Carbon isnt aquarium grade; its human grade. It contains 100% true granular Bituminous Coal, it is steam activated and only the highest quality hydrochloric acid is used with 0% phosphoric acid & phosphate present
