16.01.2022 ITS BACK!!!!!!! After a huge and successful battle throughout Covid we have brought back this awesome social media battle and this time we have Prizes that will... be announced closer to the start of competition!! What we need now is Junior League clubs interested in participating in our JL Battle from all over the country... last time we were surprised with Ellenbrook Rabbitohs Rugby League Club and Frankston Raiders Rugby League Club who showed us that they have a huge support base over in WA and down in Victoria. Who cannot forget our Champions Cambo - Cambridge Park Junior Rugby League Club. To get involved just tag your club in the comments and then await the battle to begin November #TFWthevoiceofJRL

12.01.2022 I just want to give a shout out to all parents for letting me capture your child over the last 6 years. I remember taking my canon 600d to capture my daughters footy and before you knew it i was going from field to field. This season has been one hell of a year and i was lucky to be standing back on the sidelines capturing pics once again so once again Thank you.

11.01.2022 NSWRL put out a media release yesterday that backed up 2 of our Facebook articles last week of the changed age brackets for Tarsha Gale, Jersey Flagg, SG Ball a...nd Harold Matthews competitions. Andrew Johns and Laurie Daley will stay as it was in 2020 as 16 and 18 year old comps. The following are their focus points this past year since the NSWRL and CRL joined forces to become one and in that year had discussions on a strategic plan to look at how the game was administered across the state and how recruitment and retention could be better. The objectives of the strategic plan (competitions) includes: - Increase recruitment and retention; - Increase the number of officials at grassroots level; - Enhanced competition and development pathways for women and girls; - Clearly defined competition pathway with minimum standards of delivery; - Restructure of the state into six zones and associated region which preserve historical structures but create more efficient competition possibilities; - Creation of a statewide Ron Massey Cup competition. As we stated in one of our articles the Ron Massey Cup is to become a statewide competition after the success of Presidents Cup which saw Maitland Pickers victorious over the weekend (27th Sept.) The restructure of the state into 6 zones will be an interesting one, believed to be of equal size and will reduce travel times for those up out in the country. The point that we are eagerly awaiting more detailed news is the enhanced competition and pathways for females. We believe that NSWRL has to act quickly and ensure that the pathway is of great quality or risk losing some really talented females who seek that next level of competition from another code. Opinion!!! On paper, like everything else that appears on paper the strategic plan looks like it has all bases covered. What will define this plan as a success or a failure is how it is implemented. The rezoning of the country areas have been done from our understanding to reduce travel time for the younger players out west. Most people in the metro don’t realise the amount of travel the players out in the country areas do just to play one game. Sometimes the amount of travel is double or triple the amount of the actual game. But as we stated the progression of competitions and pathways for the girls is what a lot of parents and players are wanting to see a more in depth plan on how the NSWRL plans on growing and implementing structures for the next superstars of our female game. Would love to hear your thoughts on this ladies and gents?

08.01.2022 Any girls out there wanting to play league sign up with your local club next season. Girls play with the boys up to U12's before moving into the Girls U15's.
