02.01.2022 Our first Queensland Reptile Expo 2008 was on 26th April. Our aim was to provide our spectators with a new understanding and appreciation of our reptile population. The expo displayed the deadly to the friendly and hopefully helped the community to understand the misunderstood. This event has come together by a group of reptile enthusiasts and friends Simon Pimm and Derek Leach, along with other reptile enthusiasts to share their love and passion for snakes, lizards and turt...les. Our special guest was Simon Stone - Southern Cross Reptiles. This event was a non profit expo and all funds raised were donated to Gladstone Childrens Hospital. The event was a huge success and well supported to the Gladstone community and ensured another expo would take place in 2009.
