23.01.2022 Introducing Kayla Over the past few years Kim has examined many talented female farriers overseas and now we are beginning to see more and more female farrie...rs emerging in Australia. Kayla is currently working through her Certificate 4 in Farriery via the recognition of prior learning programme (RPL).ACM40818 QBVET RTO #41374, which is being delivered at Goodlands Farrier School in Serpentine.We are extremely proud of her progress and dedication to her trade . 21.01.2022 So today we say hello to two new students. Aidan Freight and Angus Perry . Aidan has just signed up with QBVET RTO #41374 and working towards completing his Cer...t4 in Farriery. I’ll get pics next time Aidan ,sorry . Angus and his guardian Narna have come to see if Forging steel / blacksmithing is what they want to pursue. We welcome both of them to our school and look forward to them coming on a fortnightly basis . Our other groups worked on modifying store bought shoes and achieving a good fit . We had good discussions in our theory session about break over and desirable conformation traits Another great training day and we are all looking forward to our clinic next Friday . 18.01.2022 So this is Darcy Anderson . He is currently in the process of completing his RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning )Certificate 4 in Farriery . ACM40818.He is sign...ed up with QBVET in Queensland and travels 3 hours every fortnight to attend Goodlands Farrier School for his training . Darcy’s main focus over the past 4 years has primarily been further education. He has partially completed his CF exam with the FITS program and plans to continue his education within the farrier trade .
