19.01.2022 With covid-19 government restrictions, all sourdough and cheesemaking workshops are suspended for the next couple of months. All previous attendees are still welcome to email or text me with their questions :) . I enjoy teaching people about fermented foods and I’m passionate about sharing my knowledge with school children and adults alike. Particularly in regional centres where opportunities are reduced. I'm determined to continue to run my workshops when its safe to do so. Im currently investigating online options. In the meantime be safe.

07.01.2022 School based Sourdough, Cheese-making and Fermented Foods workshops. Im opening dates for conducting onsite fermentation workshops for both private and public Queensland Schools, both primary and secondary. With primary students, the workshop allows the students an opportunity to discover how cheese and bread (sourdough or yeast-based bread) is made. The Secondary curriculum have numerous subjects that cover fermented foods; The sciences, food sciences, learning support unit...s and health & nutrition. The workshops provide real world, hands-on opportunities for learning. I aim to build knowledge, confidence and skills for QLD students through opportunity.
