25.01.2022 Quicka Bowls ‘Finals Day’ will be at the Mooroolbark Bowls Club this coming Saturday May 19th. Greens will open for practise from 10am-10.45am and the $5 fee per player will apply. The $5 covers green fees, a gourmet sausage in a roll, an ice cream (drum stick) and a free ticket in our multi prize raffle.... Team managers are to submit team sheets and $45 player fees to the Host Manager (John Inglese) by no later than 10.30am. The rinks and green draw will be conducted at approx. 10.30am. Semi’s commence at 11am and completed by about 1.30pm. The semi-final game format, will be the same as our weekly Quicka Bowls competition day. The winner of each semi-final, will progress to the Grand Final. Semi 1 Heatherdale Bowling Club Mooroolbark BC Churchill Waverley Golf & Bowls Club Mount Waverley Bowling Club Semi 2 Ivanhoe Bowls Club Ashburton Lawn Bowls Club Upwey-Tecoma Bowls Club Croydon Bowling Club Lunch 1.30 2pm approx. 2.15 Grand Final (8 end final) approx. 40 minutes Presentations and raffle results to follow If the finals day is cancelled due to bad weather, the finals day will be rescheduled to the following Saturday (May 26) back at Mooroolbark Bowls Club.

15.01.2022 Mount Waverley Bowling Club has triumphed over Upwey-Tecoma Bowls Club in the Quicka Bowls Grand Final on Saturday. The final came down to the last end of the day and it was Mount Waverley that prevailed by 2 shots! Thank you to Mooroolbark Bowls Club for hosting the event!
